very generous of you to offer the refund denny, I also appreciate you letting me know right away there was an error shipping me the head painted different than I ordered, great service on your end and I was never dissapointed in the slightest when I heard that from you as I knew you'd correct the problem immediately.

I also just wanted to say that I fully support Darthmagnus' logic about not going crazy crazy overboard with new projects when so many pre orders are still in the production phases. I think everyone needs to cool down on interest lists and pestering Denny for countless new runs so we can ensure the already amazingly large amount of work we've seen iminime crank out in the last year can turn out as good as possible.

I apologize if I derail this thread a bit...but man, Denny's professionalism is just jaw dropping amazing. I'm new to 1/6 collecting, but I love to follow all threads to get my knowledge up to par...and Denny's involvement with each release is just unreal...he truly cares about you guys and this art form...if every owner/CEO/exec where like Denny, there would be a lot more Fortune 500 Companies I'll tell you that...Bravo Denny :clap You Sir are in a class all by yourself! I'm glad this all getting sorted out :hi5:

Okay back to Lecter!

Okay back to Lecter!

:exactly::goodpost::lecture

He also takes time to chat with customers. Him and i talk regularly. He's very open and introspective. Capable of objectivity. A rare character trait these days.

Hey Mike, the skin color doesnt look too dark on your pics.

It's pretty dark. It seems to photograph lighter just like in their promos. Mags is right about the Iminime tan. My Ra's, Mills, and Smith all have it too. Neo is on the oppisite end of the sspectrum but that pastiness is more accurate and fitting or him. I definitely feel that Iminime could use work on their skin tones.

Okay back to Lecter!

Denny is the man and he has a hard job. He has the patience of saints to put up with all of our a$$es.... especially me :lol

I totally and completely agree here. This critique does not go to the projects they announced and are working in but not revealed like Blondie Bateman, KB etc. but it's to all the lists floating around, every walking dead character ever, goodfellas (and I'm a massive massive fan of goodfellas) fight club memento man etc. most are worthy projects but I want the projects we have in the pipe done right here. The matrix suffered, Tony Soprano suffered, Hannibal suffered...

Don't get me wrong, great great stuff from iminime here some of my grains have been addressed this year because of them!

Strangely the only one I was elated with right off the bat was the one I cared the least about, Alfred. But maybe that's why I didn't nitpick I didn't know any better.

so glad this didnt go way off the tracks. Happy that Denny and mags worked it out fast, and if there is any question about Denny, it has been answered, thank you for the 50 pts. Denny. That is very very generous of you. Your a swell guy and your team is great...constructive communication can only mean better things for us and more sales for you in the end.

Now, it seems as though some are having a mask problem and some are not, can the straps be different lengths for each mask? I would doubt it, but you never know. Has to be a reason why some slip right on and some need to be really forced. To me a fatbsuit is never perfect, nobody makes a perfect one, they all need to be futzed once in hand. I cannot comment on skin tone as I have not seen mine, but the pics look ok to me, but we all know that camera magic can distort that. The straight jacket might be a problem, looks like that could be hard to get right, should be tighter it looks like..but maybe it's an easy fix, Denny says it's the same body type as the promo, so no gripe there. Clothing looks really good, paint is top notch like always...might just come down to the mask being a problem for a certain few.. And I am sure robbie can come up with replacement straps if he wanted. But let's not nominate him for it,,, yet, lol...please post about your mask so we all get a better understandig.

Pretty sure I'm gonna make my own "fatsuit" out of a little plastic baggie and some cotton ***** to give him a bit of a gut, and will probably use the great looking one Lector comes with for Rainman's Vincent Vega. If it works out well, then this could be a blessing in disguise as I wouldn't have to spend more time trying to hunt down another suit for Vega. The 50 points thing is very generous, and I also want to note that I also think Denny is great and I love his attitude and customer service. But as I commented on a number of times, I do feel Iminime was getting a bit ahead of itself by getting involved in so many projects before others were completed. Taking 5-6 months for a figure to get released after payment is a bit much IMO, particularly when the final product still has kinks to work out as with Lector.

I am too, new this art form....I appreciate the quality of what I purchased from you, an Iminime Mr. Smith....I also have a hackers world kitbash of this character and side by side, the Iminime creation is so much more respectable....I love the Matrix and I watch whenever its on T.V.though I own it on Bluray and DVD. I am just glad this guy [Denny] had the stones to try since Hot Toys didn't.

I agree I think smith was done pretty well easily the best you can get could he of been better of course but I think iminime did a great job on the matrix figs I'm a proud owner of both

Yes, The length of the strab is exactly same.
7cm(top) middle(9cm) Buttom(7cm) including folded part.

I am uploading the VOD now.

Thanks

Denny

got my Lecter today .. Thanks Denny

at first once the mask reach the nose you will think it's impossible to put it on .. but as PopCultKid said you need to give the strap a little push behind the ear .. overall the figure looks great

I took the fat suit off and replaced it with a home-made gut, then futzed the suit a bit, and it was a huge improvement IMO, looking much more like the prototype. With the fat suit on, my Lector looked way too physically intimidating for my liking, considering that was never one of Lector's characteristics. Now he just looks like some guy based on his body type.

Love how the eyes look facing downward there Neo. Initially, I was gonna go that way, because he definitely looks more crazy/homicidal. I chose the more traditional look after re-watching the film and that scene particularly, but that definitely catches the eye better.

Yup Fatsuit and the body it came with is a total no-go, like i said top half red skull bottom regular TT with the fatsuit is the way to go. But I'd love to see your rig..

I'll try to post some pics later tonight. Not perfect or screen accurate I'm sure, but looks more like the prototype here, which was sufficient for me:

I have no idea how Denny's group got him to look this lean with the fat suit on.

Just wish I could futz the mask better, but mine really doesn't have much play.

I received mine. I agree on the darkness of the paint ap. It's a little dark around the eyes. The sculpt really shines with the mask on.

HOWEVER, i was disappointed to discover that the hair wasn't 'thin' The bald spot was non-existent. I don't understand what happened here as the prototype had the clear bald spot and thinned hair. My sculpt has whats the equivalent of thick full head of hair.
