so denny is researching the metal sword question.

re: edition size... this release will probably start at a normal edition size with demand indicating if it needs to be augmented (in a similar way to Wallstreet Killer).

There isnt anything being sold... yet. Its just a sculpt.

Seems like they've already received C&Ds from just about everyone under the sun. Wake was suggesting that the new site allows Denny a kind of legal buffer against those claims though. If he's not actively soliciting sales through Facebook then there might not be much companies can do based on that alone.

That Lucy sculpt is crazy

I know we can't see it properly, but I'm not sure how impressive Uma looks. But that's alright if the biker outfit is really impressive

E-mail Denny about it. He previously opened up more VIP spots to those who wanted it. In fact, the guys who initially signed up for the 1-year VIP should have their memberships winding down right about now. So now is the time I would expect him to start opening those spots back up.

Exactly what they said. It's only illegal when it's for sale. Everything that Denny has on FB is for show

WB and AMC barked pretty loud at Iminime. That's why we won't see anything more Matrix stuff unfortunetly; and that really sucks. Right now Iminime his starting to really hit their stride and they're capable of producing things like Trinity, Priest Neo, Merv, The Twins, etc. at a killer level.

He's not interested in F'n around with WB. I asked if he'd be interested in doing a run of Katanas for Morpheus and he wanted no part of it

I know what you mean, I'm undecided about the Bride there too but that's hardly anything to go by. My first thought is that Uma's iris appears softer or more doe-like (if that makes sense) even when she's angry. The expression in that eye is very sharp or piercing in comparison. Still it's way to little to judge but I'm just saying I get what you mean.

Plus hair does A LOT for a sculpt, especially women. Even if the bald Bride sculpt is just ok, it could be put over the top once the hair is popped on.

I know Denny's concern is the cost of casting metal in small quantites like he recently expressed but this accessory (or any other KB swords to follow) is more deserving of the real metal treatment than any metal accessory they've done so far! Really they could have easily done the Sheriff's gun in resin and probably have gotten a better result and for less money.

The etching on her sword may be tough to achieve but that would really make the piece super quality!

The sword cast price will be carried over to the collector as this is likely to be an upgrade option. So if the collector wants a metal sword, he will pay for a metal sword.

Will The Bride have her bangs (hair). I can't really tell from the sculpt but it looks like it's not there. What scene is her hair style based off of? House of Leaves fight?

I rather see the set come as complete from the source as possible. I don't like this trend of outsourcing all the missing bits when the source usually has the capacity to offer it themselves.

The hair is what is shown in the first post. It would be a cool idea if they were to make a bangs and ponytail hair piece that could pop on to the same sculpt. That would work great for a separate casual clothes offering and the would be able to capitalize on the same base sculpt.

I didn't hear anything about any renewal options, and I'm one who signed on last year (though not in September). It wouldn't have made much sense to renew sooner than this month since no one's membership would have expired sooner. Denny opened spots up after closing it when there was an uproar in the "Cowboy" thread back in April or whatever it was by folks who wanted to pre-order sooner than everyone else. I don't know if the VIP went past 100 though. If memory serves, it didn't close because of that initially, but because Denny had a time limit for signing up.
