What do you think the Jango accessory will be. It seem pretty obvious from the hints that it will be the exclusive. Will it be an empty helmet (dented so the Jango figure would only have the non-dented helmet), a severed Jango head, or a mix of the two with the helmet and the neck stump coming out of the helemt? I would take either (preferring the ones with the severed head over just the empty helm though).

I'll bet we get that dippy screen he held in Episode I. The one shaped like a vanity mirror. Seriously, though, a severed piece of a Super Battledroid would go well here.

Sideshow Brant's hints said that the upcoming figure (Mace) never wore a helmet, but could come with one if it was a priority. As in priority pre-order.

For the Jango figure? How about a tube of those centipedey things he gave to Zam Wessell?

No for the Mace figure. Those would be good for Jango though. To clearify though, if Mace came with Jango's dented Helmet as the exclusive then Jango couldn't so he could only have his non-dented helmet.

A severed top Jetpack would be good too if Mace does come with Jango's head. It would make for a cool display.

Ah, okay. I believe that statement was made after someone suggested the Fisto exclusive battle droid head could be used on a 3PO figure, so they needed to assure fans that they wouldn't miss out with 3PO if they didn't get Kit.

Same situation won't arise with Jango, obviously. But the dented/undented helmet idea would be a nice way to keep both sides of the argument happy.

(Oh, and Evilface, Jango hit his head entering the Slave I on Kamino, didn't he?)

Woa... Nice catch! Is that indeed a hidden clue? Clever old Brant...

Why would the helmet be dented? That head was taken clean off at the neck :horror

Well, the helmet was dented when the creature ( I forget which...the horned one...oh well..) ran him over. Hence the famous dent that Boba sports during the Original Trilogy. Also if you notice, the jetpack sparked as well as he was ran over...

You will see if you watch closely that the split second that Mace chops his head off, Jango tries to use the pack and it only poofs a little smoke and sparks...

Oh well... that's the explanation...

And the helmet would be very cool...

People, people, people we are talking about 1/6 scale, right. For a minute there, I thought we were talking about life-size wax interpretations. You guys are sucking the fun factor out of this hobby.

I don't know about you Wookilar8 but $50-60 is a lot of money for me, scale or not I want my moneys worth plain and simple.
My dissatisfaction with the sculpt is because it's so very close, all it needs is a slight modification. And it's of Sam Jackson! One very notable actor that I'm a huge fan of that could be customized into so many other cool characters if the likeness is spot on. I say it's not quite there, all it needs is a little more attention.

Don't label me as a constant naysayer. I didn't say anything was wrong with the likenesses on Obi-Wan, Anakin, Kit Fisto, the new Angel figure, George Washington, Red Baron, PF Darth Vader, The New PF Buffy, CSM, both versions of Scully, any of the Bond figures, etc..
I just expect the same level of excellence we've seen from Sideshow in the past.
And since the Star Wars license includes actors likenesses, the only barrier between a perfect sculpt and a poor sculpt is Lucas Film and Sideshow's own satisfaction with the work, I doubt Samuel Jackson had any say what so ever on the likeness.

Yup, nitpick something to death and take away all the fun and joy and don't enjoy it.

You could post a naked pick of the hottest chick on the planet, and these peps would pick her to death as well.

I never criticized the opinions of those that say there is nothing wrong with it, I agreed to disagree.
As for the fun, I can't see how I or any other person is dampening your enjoyment, if I say it's not so good does that wipe that fragile smile off your face? For your sake I'd hope not.

Since the first Star Wars announcement, people have been claiming that when they talk about what they don't like, they get criticized for that opinion. Now I have to say it's true, for the most part. Some go a little overboard with their words and might say something that's too harsh. I've tried my best to speak my mind and not criticize somebody else's opinion or say something that is extremely impolite.
If you like the head sculpt, fine; then anything I say won't change that opinion.

Some criticized the Darth Vader PF figure, Obi-Wan, and Anakin head sculpts. They didn't change my opinion on how great they looked or make me anticipate some of those figures arrival any less.
:peace

I've got the answer to end all the nit-picking. I suggest that we shrink SLJ to 12" then clone him a couple thousand times and stick him in a box. I betcha people will still think the likeness is a little off.

You could shrink him, but he'd still be ONE BAAAD....
