I inquired from HLJ about this , they said three large boxes . I was quoted close to $300ish shipping
God only knows how much Sideshow will be charging for international shipping?? Not to mention the import duty!
I wonder for those in the UK if customs will invoice each box in which case would be triple customs charge???

You know I had that done to me a couple of times over here. Shipment goes out in multiple boxes the shipper adds the same invoice to each and Bam Customs ! Tried to fight it once but gave up after being referred to the umpteenth guy ... Sad . Now I rely on luck lol

All I can say to my fellow aussies is go through Popcultcha for this. I have mine pre ordered and used my 10% discount and I've worked out there is no way I could get this cheaper if you take exchange rates, shipping and customs into consideration.
Only downside is I have to wait a few months for it to arrive.

Oh you can bet we will pay through the nose . For reference I paid close to $1100 locally for Galactus becuase I didn't want to take chances with the customs and oversized shipping . More recently , Batman cost me $130 in shipping from Sideshow with another $50 charged by Fedex locally . Having said that I paid less than retail $750 ish for my HOA diorama from Hot Toys from the same retailer. It would have cost me a bomb to ship not to mention customs. So if there is some logic it escapes me...

I actually got a message from prime1 studio on facebook saying that pics should be avail this month. anyway, slightly off topic I just wanted to post some info on a g1 staue that I am getting that is avail from a mob called infinity creative designs. I have noticed that occassionall on these forums there are ppl who wish there was g1 statues. well this company is currently doing optimus, nemesis and soon megatron. not sure if the pics I tried to upload will work. if not then go on to infinity creative designs on facebook and check out their pictures. you will have to message them for prices. awesome paint and detail. optimus is 42 inches tall with base. he has light up eyes and gun. I do not have any personal interst in the company, im just putting them out there for ppl after a superb g1 statue. please do not flame me ifi have posted this in the wrong area. thanks guys.

it does hey. theres a video on youtube if you type in optimus statue but it doesn't do it any justice. they even let u pay it off over a few months. a few more pics.

Any link to this companies website would be appreciated, I'm not having much luck finding their website. My god megatron looks amazing! Seriously considering cancelling my pre-order and going with this company!

ive been messaging them through facebook. good guys, operating in the phillipines. if you look them up on faceboook you will see the other projects they are doing which are top quality. one thing they do as well is let you decide how much weathering/battle damage you want on the piece to give it a realistic look. megatron is gonna be 48 inches high!!!
price cant be disclosed but its less than prime1 megs before import duties. I honestly thought this piece would be twice its price considering how big it is. and no one else does g1 as far as I know. the guy on youtube said he would sell his entire collection just to keep his optimus statue, its that good. just message em on facebook for a price, really good guys. tell em wayne from facebook recommended you.
