I do think so Jacklyn...If the send the first ones on march, we will probably see first in hand pictures/videos on aprilmand we will get the figure on june...really long wait for this piece without pictures/videos...I know that with the dog alien was long wait too but at least with the conventions we had many pictures and videos...

Covid really messed up the excess of shows. It's interesting, the dog had such a high number of pieces but didn't sell out for about six months after release. But then the Chap (which is substantially more expensive) has such a low number of pieces. Like 550 all together vs the dogs 1850. And I'm curious how the Warrior will be, these are expensive pieces. And the shipping alone caused a lot of cancelations. Just for the DX of the warrior you pay 300 more but you also pay 200 more on shipping.
I will say I'm personally happy to see lower numbers but it does concern me about the future of the line. All I want is a 86 Queen Alien bust. Like the old ss one, I absolutely hate the avp queen, she reminded me of a dinosaur, her whole mouth was not nearly as menacing...urgh I could go on about that haha.

I'm so glad I got rid of all my stuff and focused on 1 large piece from only the first 3 Alien films. The only exception would be that queen Bust. And I am getting so anxious to get the Chap and Warrior urgh. Making me crazy

Oh yeah 1/4 is gooood. I wouldn't even care putting it next to 1/3 pieces.
That avp queen bust was just annoying because I hate that queen. Then they made a mythos one. Uuuuurgh. 86 queen 86 queen

A lot of people did not like the SS Queen Diorama released last year.
I kinda agreed with the negative aspects so did not get.

Oh yeah the ss diorama is bad. The paint on that base is so bad. And the prime1 queen has absolutely no emotion. But the ss 1/4 bust from back in the day is still the best queen statue to date.

And yeah usually when the first people in China post pictures it takes a couple of months for the shipping to get from Japan to doorstep.

I didn't order the chap direct. I'm doing secret compass. I hope it doesn't make it even more delayed. Sometimes other non direct pplaces can take longer to arrive.

As much as I want the statue in hand day 1, I did really enjoy watching people review the Dog last year before I got it. It built up that excitement.

Yes, the wall sculpture is packaged detached from the base. You can display the Chap with just its base, there will be two holes on the base if you display it without the wall.

I know because I asked P1 the very same thing. I might display mine without the wall as I don’t want it to block a cool poster I have for it up on the wall. It will go on top of heavy duty brackets and shelves screwed right into wall studs. It will be displayed next to my CoolProps Giger maquette until I get the Warrior next year.
