josh why you need to psycoanalyze people? Seriously, i can find like 3 or 4 posts in this thread alone where you say "you're the type of person" or "if you think this you must be...". Its just not necessary in a toy forum. Keep your posts to the toys and not about what you think bout fellow posters.

No kidding. I started reading this thread at work and it makes me laugh how condescending the tone is, followed up with a nice little :) as if that's supposed to make the insults any easier to digest.

I don't say anything here I wouldn't be willing to say to someone's face. You've insulted me a couple times Mesa something I doubt you'd be willing to do to my face say at SDCC.

Cause all you're good at around here is complaining like some high school girl who didn't get her way.

Yup, Justin along with several others like him. I wouldn't want to post here and work with us on actual constructive things if I had to read some of this crap. I don't want to have to break it to Justin but they've posted here since 2005 and he's just missed those posts. Probably too busy nagging about something honestly.

I may be called a super fan, that I wear rose colored glasses but good god some of you need to get off their ass for a few second. Also, If you really think none of the Sideshow folk have posted here since 2005 then you need to open your eyes and quit moaning for a second to read a bit more.

Its not constructive criticism that has run them off. If you think that then you have zero idea what you're talking about. Its the out of bounds comments made by more and more members here on this board. A few over the last years made by you in regards to SS ability to do things.

They used to be much more active both on the boards and in chat. Now not so much because a lot of folks tact or respect.

You say you've been around since 05 but don't recall them being too active. So either you aren't overly observent, not very active, or making up how long u have been here. I can recall tons of times over the years until recently because of the immaturity here.

That would be fine by me especially if it allowed me to avoid some of you folks that like to be such "wonderful" people. :)

Justin-I just think you're a person who likes to moan and groan about things for whatever reason when it comes to your toys (but I think in the real world you're probably not a bad person). I think you do come off as someone who thinks they know the exact way to do things everytime. You may be a bit misunderstood but most of the time I think its quite easy to peg you.

Is that a threat? :lol:lol:lol

I really plan on avoiding you as much as possible at SDCC, but if I do happen to run into you, and you pull any of that cocky, condescending, I'm better than you and know more than you BS, I'll tell you right to your face that you are really full of yourself and your crap stinks just as bad as the rest of ours does. Where do you get off telling people that how they think is wrong? Or that you're opinion is somehow more valid than others? Just cause you have 30k+ posts on an internet toy/doll forum? Have you looked in the mirror and checked yourself lately? Cause you need to.

:)

Ah... here comes Mesa to ****** up the thread... Anyone with brain cells should evacuate immediately. :lol

Honestly though, it's just a figure body dispute.... who the Hell takes this so damn seriously that flame wars must be started over it?

ericing is being calcatrant and argumentative just because its fun

I don't think that Justin expresses himself in a manner that would drive SSC reps away from here. He does have a lot of criticism, but the majority of the time it is constructive, if not as pix said, a bit excessive.

There is an element here as of late that is exceptionally rude in their criticisms, whether they throw constructive suggestions in with their bile or not. These are the types that creecher was talking about. Their posting style is pretentious and borders on spastic in the way that they can't seem to reign in their assumption that Sideshow really should be grovelling for their dollars. And they're clearly the most awesome sentient beings in the greater galaxy cluster, so of course, why wouldn't Sideshow be modelling their business to cater to the specific wants of these elite few? I don't know. Maybe they just don't care that you're apoplectic over the fact that a figure which costs $50 less than a Hot Toys figure is not Hot Toys perfect.

Quit ericing around everyone. :nono

I don't even know what that means.

Back on topic, I don't like the Pro much either. Admittedly on a sample size of one (Indy), but the more I try to pose him, the more I dislike the body because it just flops over and can't hold a pose. Forget about trying to put him in any sort of action pose or even a sitting one, he can only accomodate a standing over slouched pose. Not very impressed at all.

And I did try to swap him out with a HT TT, but I can't swap out the feet and no one has been able to explain how to do it, just a "I swapped mine out easily." My IJ feet has a long peg, not a ball joint, and that peg bottoms out in a HT TT.

Pics to show what I'm talking about. The joints on the feet are of a different type.

And I think it's funny that some people are allowed to be as obnoxious and arrogant as they want to be without anyone saying a word about it, and when I call them out on it, I got mods and super fans of super fans coming to the rescue and defense to claim I'm the one being out of line.

Too funny, I love this board.

Your post is very intelligent and articulate. Or in other words, what a marcist way of putting things. :D

Thanks guys I'd be honored to see my legacy live on as a new internet verb. Marcism is the opposite of hyperbole, right?

Yeah, I'm lying about how long I've been posting on a doll forum.

Compared to you perhaps I haven't been that active, but I have spent my fair share of time here, and I remember how active the Sideshow folks were. Some people are acting like they hung out here all the time and were very active in this community, and that's just not the case. Did they post occasionally? Yes. Were they regular, involved participants? No. Andy Bergholtz was the only regular, and that was not in any official capacity. I know you'll reply to this to let me know how wrong/unobservant/uniformed I am, so multiquote away. I'm done with this ridiculous discussion, if you can even call it that.

And I still think the Prometheus is a decent body. Just work out the kinks, Sideshow.

Is that a threat? :lol:lol:lol

Um no. I never go to Comic-Con to start anything. I go to kick back and relax with friends and BS with the SS folks. I was simply saying that people who have said crap to me here have never had the guts to do it to my face.

Fine by me. I wouldn't know you if you walked up and slapped me. So I have no idea who you are nor care to talk to you. So it works out. As far as the rest well I'm just sure enough in what I'm saying to be dang sure I'm right more than I'm wrong.

I think you need to refresh your memory cause they participated here fairly often especially before the move here. Was it as much as the rest of us post here? No, no that would be stretching it by a smidge but it was pretty often back in the day.

There's your reply. :lol
