I think he time travel paradoxes (meeting yourself and causing a paradox because you can't be two different persons at the same time, or that you can't change anything because you'll change history and thus erase yourself) were dogma before the multiple universes theory asserted itself.

What existed before our universe or any universes.

With infinite amount of stars that make our sun look like a tiny marble why is space still cold, why not hot instead of cold?

Is nothing something?

Ah true. It kind of makes sense there would be multiple universes then since every decision you could make would propel you into another direction, thus a new timeline is created. Also could explain the whole de ja vu notion or you thinking you see your double in the world when in reality some people think its you crossing over into an alternate reality briefly and then suddenly snap back into your own line.

So what you guys are all saying is, that there IS a universe/alternate timeline in which Alien Covenant doesn't exist? **** I wanna go there!

Re: Time travel made easy by Gaspar the Wise

For a second I lit thought that there was a time travel thread here from five years ago until I realized that the thread title had been changed. :rotfl

Re: Time travel made easy by Gaspar the Wise

Oh now that the thread title changed we're getting back to Covenant? :lol

What Covenant lacks in narrative it makes up for in schlocky slasher movie fun. So I'll take that one over Prometheus.

I've finally seen this. Due to such lowered expectations I actually found a lot of enjoyment in it. Very entertaining and with some interesting stuff going on with Michael Fassbender and Michael Fassbender.

It's totally not canon with the original film (and thus not with Aliens or Alien 3 etc) but as its own thing I am actually curious what Ridley would do with another one.
