There was a bit of debris stuck underneath the switch that needed to be physically "blown" out before it'd go through the cycles and there was a nut underneath the stand that needed to be readjusted. Nothing too major at least with mine...

and we have a lot of money....

I kid. I kid. Now back to reading the paper.

As for the information is was a commission privately done from interested members over on The RPF. Its not the one done by Jmtwo but done by Rick Gamez. He is a professional Prop Maker who made pieces for the Iron Man film, Men in Black and a bunch of other films. The price was $650. Worth every dime especially considering each piece was assembled by hand with real Copper wiring around it!

Here is the step by step he chronicled in making it:

wow !! thats fantastic.
congratz bro.

Those cords are hideous. The look from the initial shots looks really cheap and its Museum Replicas, who haven't put out a product yet without severe issues. I look online at their Iron Man helmets from the film and wonder about the quality of this. I have absolutely no regrets buying mine if the official version is coming from Museum Replicas.

Yeah, I got the 60's cap shield from them. The base was covered with paint chips and the shield had a nice little dent in it, not to mention paints marks. Of course they claim since the shield is "hand made" it won't ever be perfect. But you know what, for that price, for what is basically a just a big bowl, it damn well better be. Too bad too, I really wanted a thor hammer, but I can't justify spending $400 for something defective; I'm sure this hearts will be subpar as well.

It's worth a shot for me, $135 isn't much of a gamble and at the worst I could just send it back. :lecture

I hope its actually well done, I'd get another for my classroom but I have my serious doubts and will definitely wait until some in hand shots before ordering. Not to mention a lot of MR's secondary values are really low so you might be able to get a better deal than that.
