Why not, it kind of sucks
But... but it's my favorite controller.
Why not, it kind of sucks
No but it's adding to my ever growing pile. My girlfriend keeps telling me I have more games than I could play in a lifetime but I can't stop.
It really is hard to sit down with one game and finish it. When I'm playing it I keep thinking "Oh I really want to play Final Fantasy but I just started EarthBound. But I want to play Mass Effect 3 to finish the story but Halo 4 and Assassin's Creed III are calling me too but I still have to finish Harvest Moon!"
It's so hard to keep attention focused when so many of the games are good.
To me, it's like picking up a violin, playing a couple of notes, then saying 'Oh yeah I used to play the violin'....but you have played it. You didn't complete it, but you've played it.

I'll likely get them both at launch. Always do. I love new hardware. It's never been a problem for me.
I couldnt care less about specs. Not at ALL. literally. I dont care. I want gaming to digress. I want gaming to go back to when people had to think up ideas of what made games great. Have new and fun gameplay. Not just have the attitude that new improved graphics make a game better.
I play ps1 games about 60% of the time, ps2 30% and ps3 10%.
Better graphics and frame rate is a copout for gameplay
Id love both. But im old enough to of grown up with the evolution of gameplay and graphics. And by old enough, i mean im pre Nes and Megadrive/Genesis. And i see graphics as an ugly ugly thing. Graphics are an excuse to hide gameplay.
Specs aren't that great cause the economy for vg isn't that great. Disc sales are down 27%. If they used expensive hardware, it would be nothing but financial losses for them. In a way, they should be worried, vita is a brick and wii-u sales have are dropping. So are people willing to run out and buy the newest system ASAP?
I do play modern games too. I just find myself going back to ps2, ps1 and megadrive, nes, snes games. Nothing thats came out now i can say is original. I do buy the new consoles, im not a technophobe. But i just havent enjoyed, really enjoyed a game since ps2If you say so. I'm 36 and had an Atari 2600. I love nice graphics and think that games have only gotten better. Nothing wrong with preferring retro games, but I don't think theres anything wrong with games today either.
If you're finding a lack of innovation in games today, maybe you should step away from the big budget titles and take a peak at indie games. PSN, XBL and Steam all have tons of very original and innovative games.

Im not saying its the end of original gaming. But it really sinks my heart when i see people think the future of gaming is specs of the consoles
I'm also into retro gaming and have a massive collection especially N64.
But nowadays they concerntrate more on graphics than the game itself.
Look at Zelda and Turok 2 on the N64 amazing games with great level
design and great graphics.
It took me ages to complete games back then.
But i have gone out spent £40.00 on a game and completed it in 4 hours and the rest is online junk.
That is why i prefer the likes of Elder scrolls games and the mass effect games.
Call of duty is the same they concerntrate more online gamplay than the games itself , in my view the COD games are gradually getting worse.
Especially from COD 4 the online and single player were amazing.
Now they just bore me.
If it was not for games score i would not play the games like i do and just stick to good old retro.
