I spent several hours on Playstation Home today, and I was really surprised to see so many people there. It doesn't look like the PSN down time has really affected the amount of Home users that are going back.

In any case, I'm glad to see that things are getting better. What an ordeal!

I think I may have screwed up one of my accounts due to all this timing out problems. What happens if two accounts use the same email? one is US based which I can log in. The other is a UK account that also has the same email but I can't log into it. GT5 saved game is tied to this account.

I assume changing the email for the US account would sort it? or do they get locked to an email? or is it locked to the account on the user you're logged into on the PS3 before you log into the PSN?

It's been back up for a while. They said that they had to shut it down for 30 minutes because too many people were changing passwords at the same time, or something like that.

So it would appear I've found a nice bug. I had and still do have an American PSN account but whatever happened from a long while back, maybe a year or so back whenever the new license agreements came in. The email to that account became dislodged. During that process agreeing etc with the new details during all the password changes parts yesterday, that I didn't even realize another UK account I had also had the same email address tied to it.

After changing the email tied to that account, that UK account now seems to have the PSN ID still active but no email tied to it. Therefor nobody can login to it. I mainly used it for GT5. I had to create a new account with that same email address that is now registered. I nearly got lost in all this mess.
