Looks VERY GOOD!!! I love both of the actors and I love the topic! I am very curious about how they are going to end the movie... because in real life...

Depps character gets shot in the back running away in an alley and that just seems not that exciting for a hollywood film. I wonder if they will make it more dramatic.

ok, i'm not trying to answer barbelith's question, but most ppl i know HATED watchmen with a passion. and these are both folks that r your average popcorn-munching moviegoers AND a few film-geeks too.
i for one, liked watchmen a lot. i share some of the mainstream public's problems with the film, but by and large i enjoyed and appreciated it for what it was.
so my point is, using watchmen as a point of comparison with ANY other movie is a tricky thing. barbelith, i'm not dissing your choice of watchmen as a yardstick for that dude's taste in movies. but i'm just sayin it could throw u off.
anyway, sorry for going kinda off topic.
personally i'm REALLY looking forward to public enemies. much much more so than stuff like transformers2 or wolverine.
