Then scrambled to hit Buy it now.
I thought for sure I was going to get the old Mego version in its place.

With nanjin gone it’s not gonna happen at least at the correct level but McCoy sticks out like a sore thumb now with his old style shirt and his head which is by far the weekest if the bunch not to mention his he man body. He needs a re release.

Yeah, the current body is so very wrong for the character that I have to cringe and almost hold my nose. But the head, aka likeness, I think is the strong point of the figure, so I’m not seeing what you’re seeing on the head I guess. In fact I think that it’s the best likeness of all the releases so far. I don’t think we are gonna see another McCoy in our lifetime, though, so... this is it. But this is why I resist paying $300 for a hold-your-nose piece.

Only to the degree that it now costs so much considering that the body is so wrong. It’s just not worth the cost in comparison to the other more superior figures. The medical tunic would improve the body situation because it hides the bodybuilder physique somewhat, but that gets even more expensive.

I'm probably going to go for the new bodies. I used a very light ink wash to accentuate and shade his wrinkles. The likeness is pretty good.

That's what I did with mine. Makes a world of difference.
