Nanjin is hoping to provide substitute bodies with more suitable builds.

I am hoping to include this jumpsuit and a black T (strongly interested) with the body... and maybe the followings:

Improved boots, and a generic head (not really into these) and of course, one or two pairs of hands.

Because the body was meant primarily for Spock, there are some well developed body sizes paddings in big, normal, and chumpy.

Nothing above will offend licensing.

Have to wait till the Covid-19 under controll before anything can be planned...

Is going to be really crazy there....

I love Deepfake! I'm adding extra scenes for Grace Lee Whitney in Star Trek TMP for my own fan edit. It is a very laborious process for one or two seconds of dialogue but quite fun.

Yes, I noted that myself in an earlier post. He does looks better in the loose tunic. Two problems with that is that he still looks like a bodybuilder, and the price for the tunic, whether bought individually on eBay or as the exclusive figure, is ludicrous. By the way, I?ve not seen the tunic by itself selling but I did see Spock?s ?harp? by itself sell for nearly $200 a few weeks ago! Ludicrous!

Damn.. almost had a McCoy tonight. I saw an exclusive version on eBay and put my max bid at $360 at the very last second (it was at $306 when I put my bid in) and it went for $365. So close...

It tends to happen with desirable aftermarket sixth scale figures. I don’t pay those prices often, but I’d pay a big price for a McCoy to ensure having one. I don’t know if QMX will re-release him.

I’ve straddled the fence on purchasing a McCoy with such bulging muscles at such bulging prices, and I don’t know if we’re going to ever see new bodies from N that we have to buy in addition to buying a current figure for over $300. I’m considering looking at the HCG polystone statue instead (a little cheaper but not by much). It obviously wouldn’t match the other QMx plastic figures in any way other than the scale but the statue has a FAR superior body sculpt and the likeness is as good if not better than QMx’s. I know figures and statues don’t mix well but I’m not sure I care that much.

What irks me is that I had purchased ALL the exclusive versions TOS statues from HCG when they were first released and for some dumb reason I sold them all several years ago, incl. both scales of Kirk (1/6 on chair and 1/4) and Spock, McCoy and the Gorn. The only minuses to those was the likeness of Spock and the body sculpt of the 1/4 Kirk who sported a much lankier physique that looks nothing like Shatner’s.

I’d much prefer the QMX figure to match the other figures I have. Plus I like figures more than statues. I don’t want to pay that much for McCoy, but if that’s the going price and no new offerings are available I might just have to bite the bullet. I was willing to do it tonight had I won that auction.

Btw, this is the Spock which I did last year. At the end of 2018, I started pushing 3 figures at the ****ed-up Q Continuum because Dec 7 2019 was TMP 40th Anniversary. I supposed to put out 3 TMP figures at around USD 120-130 range or even lower - Plain outfit-head sculpts figures.
