Beautiful. Everything about these is fantastic. I hope we get all 7 of the main crew. Any other figures beyond that would be icing on the cake.

To me it looks like the paint app for the head is different. Proto shows awesome detail of skin and spocks make up with the purple shading above the eyes and rosier cheeks whereas the production piece looks bland. No spock colouration. Would like to see better HD pics / close ups. These pixel pics are annoying. Nanjin gave us up close pics throughout the whole process and now the products here there iant any on the site.

I just got used to seeing Nanjins painted spock head and was expecting that level of accuracy with the paint up as it was given in the sculpting.

There's no doubt a lot of love went into these. I preordered at BBTS soon as I saw them there. I'll try for the phaser rifle exclusive but probably not the lute. Honestly, I'm fine with the standard editions if thats what I get my hands on. They'll be front and center in my collection.

As Nanjin has said it is similar with Uk/Europe. In one day just under half of my allocations are gone on the exclusives. Compared to Malcolm Reynolds exclusive Spock and Kirk are extremely limited. International distributors allocations were very small so if anyone is wanting the exclusive versions should act sooner rather than later to save disappointment.

The exclusive extras are extremely detailed and a fantastic addition to the set. I'll certainly be keeping a pair for myself.

Let's not forget the standard versions are just as good! :)

My personal thinking about the exclusives were , for Spock I wouldn't use the lute as I prefer more action oriented poses, and for Jim (and here's the ultimate nerd in me..) Kirk never used the phaser rifle in that uniform. I can still see however, how detailed the accessories are, and if people do want them they should act quickly. I just had my own (geeky) reasons not to get them myself.

He actually did in the latest "Star Trek Continues" episode. I know it's not canon, but - close enough for me ;)

I know you guys only pose your figures in glass boxes, but I like to play with them and set up different scenes, so the more accessories, the merrier.

Oh I know what you mean..... Whenever I repose my shelves to mix things up I have a sneaky play with them (think the Dark Helmet scene from spaceballs....." No sir I didn't see you playing with your toys again!"

I can't wait for Kirk and Spock to meet my Doctors. That will be epic. "What is this blue box doing on the Enterprise?"

Yeah I'm definitely willing to make an exception with using the phaser rifle. Both because it just looks really cool, and because it seems likely they still DID have it around on the Enterprise, and pulled it out now and then for missions we never saw.

No, you can get the exclusives in the US only from QMx. Certain dealers in other territories - like Aaron in the UK - will have the exclusives though.

Thanks Dave, I still have allocations for exclusives and anybody from UK/Europe can go through my signature. If you visit QMx and click the international tab on the product they have all the International retailers listed which should help you all out.

As I stated before the allocations are extremely limited across the globe.

Can't wait for these. As long as Nanjin is attached I know they are doing everything they can to deliver. Plus they went the extra mile with Firefly too so I am super excited to see what they do with this lisence.
