If it wasn't a con exclusive I'd wait to hunt it down, but since it's an exclusive I don't wanna risk it.

perhaps the fact that it is a Con Exclusive may make this item tougher to find (although this wasn't the case with Sith Anakin)... the Sandtrooper is a very cool figure, and if anything, i suppose the pre order will have it within our hands sooner!

There were a lot more Sith Anakins though, six times as many as the Sandtrooper in fact.
Still the only exclusive RAH figure prior to this is the BHS and we can't really judge much based on that since it's EU and alot of collectors who'd get the Sandtrooper would skip it for that reason. Sandy is a trooper and canon and OT, so I think this one will disappear alot faster for those reasons alone, but I can only speculate.

Anakin was also an ES of 6000, this is 1000, thought more expensive, but also a much more unique item in terms of difference from the base figure, new gun, back pack, shoulder gear, so it'll be interesting to see how this figure pans out.

Also Blackhole trooper is 3000 World Wide, only 1000 in the States via SWS. Is the Sandtrooper 1,000 Worldwide? Like it won't be ANYWHERE else? If so, that's even tougher to get.
My interpretation is that it's to be a C4 Exclusive, and only the ammount made for C4 will be available worldwide, but I could be wrong.

Isn't there usually a seperate edition size for Japan, I honestly don't know, did the newsletter say they had 1,000 for the US or was it 1,000 worldwide
In any case it'll be a rare item and again because it's OT and canon it can't be compared to the BHS.
It'll sell much faster IMO.

I think that 2000 or something will be available in Japan just 1000 in US.

If they held back 1000+ for regular sale in Japan that would not make it C4 exclusive. The point of a exclusive is just that, its exclusive. The Shadow Stormtrooper was "Imported exclusively to the U.S. by StarWarsShop"

Sideshow is pleased to announce that Medicom Toy Coporation has granted 1,000 pcs of the 12-inch RAH Sandtrooper figure for the US market as a special exclusive opportunity at Celebration IV.
So I guess this is not truely a C4 exclusive:emperor. I don't think you will find it much cheaper and if you do the 30-40 shipping chage the Intl sellers seem to charge will eat up those savings pretty fast.

The more the merrier, I hate edition sizes, just make enough for everyone that wants one. Quit trying to sell me an exclusive figure that everyone and their brother already has and has since sold an e-bay for a loss.

I was a little late. The site said it was still available and it was listed on the top ten lists still. Every link I tired kept redirecting me to a page saying not found. I ever tried the search function and it would only bring up the attendee link. I was trying for about half an hour, but I had to leave for work. I tired later the link was working but of course by then it was sold out. I wrote a complaint to SS, I know they can't do anything for me, nor do I think they will really care but I had to get it off my chest.

Yes, there definitely was something wrong with that link. For a start, I got the "this item is not up for priority pre order yet" screen for at least 30 seconds after PPO time, during the non-attendee PPO. That sucked.SimFeliz said:

I had no problems. This was THE smoothest and fastest I ever got anything via PPO, sorry to hear there were some problems. Anyway, I'd say if you want to be sure, go to monstersinmotion.com it's the same price, I ordered Jango from them and all sya they're legit. Besides, they list their address and show a pic of their offices, if they screw you, go burn em down:chew
