He's nice. I really like that he's not shiney at all and that they put some definite wear on this figure. Even the rifle looks to be used.

A figure I want at a price I refuse to pay... Oh well...

No kidding... I'd be all over these but over 100$ for a 12" fig is a hard thing to come by.

wrong kinda helmet he's got on. another rotj helmet. of course Lucas inserted some more sandtroopers in that scene with that helmet but that doesn't mean that was quite the right way to go about it

Weathering - Check
Long blaster - Check
ANH helmet - hell no

Well I suppose two out of three aint bad.

Overal it looks awesome. I'll definately be getting one and maybe more if they make the other variants.
Just wonder if it will come with both blasters. If I get a squad of 4 I dont want them all having the same blaster.

Honestly, I couldn't tell the difference between the two helmets and I've seen the movies a number of times.

This will probably end up costing $149.99 plus $5 mark-up for Non-Attendees. :(

99 bucks would be perfect for this

Look closer. The ANH helmets (especially the Sandtroopers) don't have brows anywhere near that low on the eyes.

The orange trooper that stops them in Mos Eisley had his rubber brow really turned upward. it's pretty cool

He's the best trooper in the whole thing. I also like how he doesn't have a huge eye bump like most of them.

No. The ANH helmets were actually 2-pieces. The top of the head and the back were one piece and they connected to the face plate via screws hidden by the greeblies on the "ear" area. The "brows" were rubber fixed across the front to hide the seam between the two pieces (top and face).

To give you a better idea here's a fan-made kit based on the actual ones used for the ANH helmets:
