Best Buy is the only place that has this right now. I have a ton of errands to run Friday so if any place has it, I'll pick it up. I really hate you guys for making me want to get another game :emperor

Hopefully when I'm sober I'll realize I don't need this and will be smart enough to not purchase it.

I went out to pick up this game today.

Gamestop, EB Games, Circuit City, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target and Costco did not have it for sale.

Costco doesn't surprise me the rarely have games on release day, normally a few days later, but dam none anywhere else.

Wow. I figured when I went out to look, it was sure to be gone. Heck, we are right beside Fort Bragg. But, there were at least 10 copies at Best Buy and around 20 at Circuit City ... and this was around 4, so it's not like I went early. Well, sorry for those who couldn't find it. I am willing to bet most of these places have restock by the weekend.

I would prefer to get it at Circuit City, as they are giving away free RSV2 fuzzy dice with your purchase of the game.

Good Luck with the dice Tom. I bought mine from CC in hopes of getting them - the store received 50 copies (PS3 and 360 combined) but only 5 pairs of Dice. So, they were long gone by the time I got there.

That's the same way I felt about GRAW 2. But, lets be honest, the Tom Clancy games .... even the Sam Fisher Splinter Cells are like that. First one is usually groundbreaking, the sequels just added content onto the same engines ... with minor tweaks now and then. Think of this as a Sports Game - Vegas 2008 - now with updated rosters and new stadiums to shoot people in:

I rented it and so far it seems like is just new maps but same game.
still awsome fun game.
even gamespot just give it a 8.5 out of 10.

I really enjoy the game. I never played the first one so it's a new exp for me. It's sort of like COD4, but with a great cover system like Gears of War. I also love being able to customize you armor and clothes all the way down to the type of hat of glasses/goggles you want to wear so it's kind of like Halo in that area. You get to customize your weapons like in COD4 and you rank up like in COD4 as well and unlock weapons and gear as you do.

In all honesty I see this game as taking the best from Gears, Halo 3 and COD4 and putting it in one game.

I really like the snake cam and giving your team orders during the campaign. I think the AI on your team members is pretty good to be honest. They don't just act stupid and rush in like Dom in Gears

Played co-op with BadMoon, Dirty and Mayo last night on terrorist hunter mode and that was fun. I am struggling getting to know the controls so I can stop throwing grenades by mistake

Yeah I mean even look at Halo. Has the game really changed all that much from 1 to 3? Graphics aside of course it is still pretty much the same game. To say that something is similar to the first and complain is just stupid. That's why it is called a sequel. I bet when GOW 2 comes out it will still have the same core gameplay elements.

Getting readjusted to the controls is the hardest part. Did anyone else download the free map when they linked their gamertag to Ubisoft? I did. Also if you go to the website you get a free gun code. I will be doing that tonight. You get the map through the extras. I like this game allot. The graphics seem a little dated especially compared to Gears and COD4 but I can look past that. There were a few glitches last night but that is to be expected on launch day.
