I was talking with the wife about that, pulled together a rough estimate of gross revenue here for this release (estimated h+c, sculpts, outfits, full sets, etc.), and it came in at over $100K.

That's scary, I guess, putting things in perspective, a lot of us work hard too with the standard 8-5 job, and don't pull in that amount of money annually. I am of course, generalizing the "avg" board member (at least, in my mind)...no offense to all you millionaires out there.

Edit: forgot to factor in costs that RM has in making these. I don't know how much they amount to, but across 4 releases per year, he's still probably making bank

Hmm, I read it as 10 Soldier and 10 Driver fullsets, 20 total.

As I mentioned to Darthy yesterday, we have a good a chance as anybody! I'm preparing for the worst to be honest as then I won't be too disappointed if I do miss out on a set.

I've already prepared for the worst but honestly I'll be gutted if I fail on Tuesday. I'm already super disappointed. This is the one part of the hobby I hate, having to compete like crazy for this stuff!

I know dude! It's a shame that anybody has to miss out but unfortunately that's how it is. I will be gutted as I was in for the Taxi Driver set from the start when the first images were shown.

I saw a DFS appear for 2 seconds about 30 minutes ago. By the time I went to put it in my cart it was gone

it was mine ..when rainman opened vip preorders .. i've secured a DX & DFS .. paid for my DX same moment . But DFS was having kind of address/shipping error .. i wanted to correct this today so instead of contacting Rainman i canceled it & added it to cart again .. Guess what the time of checking out it shows 0 items & someone els took it hahaha congrats to that lucky guy & hard luck to me for that dumb move

Not gonna lie... kinda wish there will be a limit in the future for VIPs on just how many DX/double full sets they can buy. I see too much potential for either flipping abuse... or simply not enough full sets for others.

Rainman's market is just a small group of his faithful fans and friends. He prolly know most of the VIP members and i doubt any would jeopardize the relationship they have by buying like 10 of these to flip. Because rainman can always cancel and refuse to sell it.

So we are 5 already going for the DX! I would be just as happy to get the double FS to tell you the truth.

I ordered 2 individual FS for now and I can't affort them at this price. If someone wants one of them, just pm me before they are automatically cancelled. We'll find a specific time so you can get it.

Tell me about it , I'll cry if I don't get one of these.

Even with VIP status it's still a near instant sell out nowadays. I think it's going to get to the point shortly with future projects where there is going to be several people not getting what they want.

There is still the clothing sets though I suppose if he decides to do them which I'm sure he will.

$1500 is a glass ceiling price and at that price you can be pretty certain that most are genuinly interested in this product for themselves. The real problem is the placeholding thats going on.

Checking an item out and holding it hostage without having paid for it and using this as some kind of insurance tactic with the intention of upgrading but not missing out entirely is wrong.

He changed it to 3days for one of the releases, Anton I believe, unless he went back.

Rainman's too popular these days to sustain that courtesy anymore. 24 hour limit is fair checkout. There are too many collectors ready to pay that are being left out, even VIP's.

Guys I've got a question.

I've thinking of trying for the soldier full set ( mohawk version ) considering it does come with the sunglasses and I'd prefer Rainman's paint work. I'd also rather avoid the hassle of putting the whole thing together.

I'm a little confused though as to what's included in the soldier full set.

On the photographs on the soldier full set listing it shows that the haired headsculpt isn't included which obviously makes sense.

This is what I'm confused about , on this photo the magnum is covered up and it states " This is for driver head ".

On the full description at the bottom of this imagine it says all weapons are included in the soldier full set.

So are all the guns included in the soldier full set ?.
