I haven't seen this flick. What he wasnt man enough to fight face to face? Were his bum friends there to help him out too?




Been looking at the glasses and I think the CRM version capture more of the shape/frame of the Randolphs. Rainmans seem a little to round. They kind of remind me of those Depp Willy Wonka glasses. Maybe he can look into adjusting that a bit. That gunsling though ....real fabric!! Fugettabout it!

You should give it a watch it's pretty good not as good as the first but still enjoyable.

You should give it a watch it's pretty good not as good as the first but still enjoyable.

To be fair she does have an assortment of blades and other stabbing weapons and she's pretty awesome. The fact she's fictional should also be taken into account for sure

98-99% in that pic...which is the best rendition of RD that we have ever gotten...and a young one at that...but yes...that same pic is what convinced me to go all out....and the fact that so much stuff was included in this release...also...the reduced price...it was just full of win...

De Niro seems to be a hard likeness to capture in 1:6, and RM pulled it off completely with this set...he's definitely the king of getting the unusual faces down Bardem ,Day-Lewis, now De Niro.

I dunno, I find both sculpt to be far too soft looking. I'm passing on this release, with Xeno's Driver to pay off and Johnny's Freddie among many other po's I have to be picky and this just doesn't look worth it to me.

I also have a little hard time seeing Di Rino, especially in the "soldier" look, but I think its because I'm just more familiar with his older look.

After a few glances its apparent they are kind of void of any real attitude, but they look good and Rainmans style is in it as well for those who are into that.

I'm also waiting on Xeno's drive. This and Mask Gosling is going to be insane on the shelves.

Of course you're having a hard time seeing that Di Rino dude, 'cause this sculpt is meant to be De Niro.


Seriously though, I've been lurking in this thread, 'cause I'm a big fan of the movie, and even though I can't afford Rainman's figures, I admire his work and the unique take he has on the characters he chooses to do.
This is another fantastic figure by him, congrats to all who are getting one.

Let's not put too much emphasis on him being shirtless. Seriously, nobody is going to pose him like that when all is said and done.

Much like the dork clothing. All that fuss for absolutely nothing! A complete waste of time and resource, and what made it worse was we got less in the way of accessories for it. Please, let's have some serious focus on this one!!!

It would be interesting to see if Rainman goes neckless/ball jointed on this for the shirtless look. The Bruce Lee Bodies are pricey but maybe he can get some of the battledamaged ones and mod them or create a special chestplate like he did for The Dude. The casual Bruce Lee bodies arent as ripped so maybe those will work out a bit better. Lets see what happens.

I don't know what the current situation with bodies is but it appears that there is some kind of drought going on. I'd love to see this on a ball jointed bruce lee body for the shirtless pose. i'd even go as far as suggesting a BYOB system, or Bring your own body (Provide Rainman with the bodies..shipped to him) If he cant aquire all the bodies himself.

We've got some time on this it appears....Rainman is still working and focused on Jules.

Freely admit I didn't envisage the shirtless look being as prominent on this one. I just had the Kai set-up in my mind and assumed that would be the road Rainman took.

I'm sure when people think of Taxi Driver they think of the Mohawk with bomber jacket look. The fact that we have that AND the haired version makes this a really special release!

I'm not in the camp that support the "style" and unfortunately it's very much in both these sculpts .. but ya your right that both these characters would look great beside one another, look forward to seeing that display!
