Sorry - when I say put in the cart - I meant you actually have to proceed with purchase to secure the figure (but you do not have to pay at that moment). Then you have a maximum of 7 days, if you do not pay straight away, to follow through with the payment via paypal...

If you just add to cart and continue shopping - it will be gone by the time you add something else - usually! :lol

Ok gotcha, thanks dude!

I'm not one to defend Turbo, but I don't see anything wrong with him putting in input that could improve the figure. :dunno

I don't agree with a lot of people in here and don't expect them to agree with my point of views, but when it helps make the figure the best it could be I'll get behind the suggestion every time.

Whether it was caught by Rainman's team or not remains to be seen.

"A wise man told me don't argue with fools
Cause people from a distance can't tell who is who" ~Jay Z~

Read again, entropy wasnt complaining bout the input of details. Hes just wondering why turbo doesnt post the pics here or send it to rainman directly to fix/add the details.

Yes, making Rainman aware and showing the jeans reference pics couldn't hurt was my point.

Yes he pointed that out already thank you. :)

Was wondering about this. Can your item be taken out of your cart before you go to check out? What i mean is does having the item in your cart secure you the item for how may days RM gives to buy? Or do you have to complete checkout and get an order number or something like that to start the time span of paying for it? Bought all my RM figs on the secondary market so im unaware of how this works. Sucks that that many people didnt pay though :dunno

It would be awesome if all you had to do was put it in your cart to secure said item...unfortunately it doesn't work like that. .:(

haha. not personal at all, just curious why you're reticent to share in this thread or with Rainman and eager to start a commission with someone else.

please post pics of the jeans. :wave

:duff: No problemo. If you start from page 1 you'll see I'm all over this thread...posted accurate reference pics, made chestpiece shirtless suggestions, helped with the intial blueprint of whats neccesary, fought to get the gunslide made, communicated with Rainman directly, pointed out the correct patches, won a bet, made suggestions on correcting the shape of the glasses, survived the sale and aquired a dx, temporarily got rid of some trolling riff raff....and so on and so on:lol. Do I want a medal? No....Do I feel satisfied to see this figure will shape up to everything I had hoped and waited for all these years? Yes.
Am I going to stop my mission of trying to put together the very best/accurate Travis Bickle....Never! :lol

So back to the jeans....

I know some websites give you a certain amount of minutes to pay, and within those minutes the item is securely yours. Too bad RM sites not like that. But I guess that's why things were so hectic for the driver FS and DX releases lol!

Yes, I know you've been a huge fan of this and accuracy from the start.

Which is why I was wondering why you won't share the reference jeans pocket pics and why you aren't too interested in showing them to Rainman..

Seems you'd want these corrected instead of commissioning a new pair and discarding Rainman's. Odd

No one can touch dedication when it comes to selvedge denim like kato. But that said, im happy and will settle with the ones that comes with the rainman set.

If its indeed a levis jeans, then the arc of the back pocket should be easy to find. Granted they wont be slanted the way most vintage ones are and not using the correct color stitchings, but i doubt many people could see the difference, unless you are a denim head.

So the jeans backpockets shape are styled like Levis but Robert Deniro wore "Lee" jeans or more specifically model LEE101Z which means the backpockets shape and arc embroidery will be different. The suggestion for possibly approaching Kato for an accurate 1/6 jeans and badge replica is based on my observation of his replicating classic vintage denim in 1/6 and the enjoyment he seems to have for making them. I haven't approached Kato with this but it's hopefully somthing he'd be interestef in doing since hes highly skilled at creating denim in 1/6 and the Lee101Z is one of the most iconic pair of jeans.

These are the style of Jeans that Travis Bickle wore. They were not Levi's but rather Lee101z jeans so the back pocket shape will most certainly be different from Levi's. Rainmains Tailor may have picked up on this fine detail, but if not it would be great to see Kato do an accurate 1/6 replica with the "Lee" badge for collectors who are into the very fine points of 1/6 custom figure collecting.

I can see the top wave is yellow stitching while bottom is orange. I think kato will be attentive to these sort of details. Dunno if rainman tailor would be OCD enough to change the thread color for the arc.

Thanks for the pics and research.

Thread color change doesn't impress me but the stitching and pocket shape would be nice to have.

Whats interesting to me is that Toys McCoys felt it very important to always get the clothing right especially with the Iconic Lee101z jeans. These jeans were as iconic in films as the actors that wore them, James Dean, Steve McQueen, Jack Nicholson, Robert Deniro. In fact if Rainman decides to do a Torrance, his tailor is going to have to make "Lee" jeans. These types of details are going to be what makes it worth paying custom prices. Always pay attention to that person that walks up to your detolf who almost has their nose pressed against the glass. This is the guy who knows his stuff and is looking for those fine points and whose jaw drops when he or she realizes that the custom artist didnt miss those details.
