No one said it was going to be "1500" I just said don't be surprised if its 1200-1500... And may be as low as 1200. This is what happens, someone post what rainman has said, then people get all hysterical. It's confirmed, I said earlier, Magnus reiterated it, and like Teddy said, upping run # doesn't make sense when the price point will be higher and he's putting a lot of work into it (but not the maniacal list of items either of all items). Two outfits, two heads, a couple of guns, custom chest, lil' craftsmanship things like belt and the price will justify work.

Difficult to tell from the smooth photoshop pic but hoping Rainman captured that Deniro nose, his sharp cheekbones and the very important Scar on his head. Also interested to see what arms the chestpiece are fitted for. Very excited to see his full reveal.

If he's doing two completely separate outfits, then I wonder if he won't make them both available as head/outfit releases, with corresponding heads. . .at which point, it wouldn't be a true DX, but it's not like Rainman to invest in outfits that he doesn't sell in parted out options.

The two outfits thing is giving me flashbacks to Vince

I like the two outfit idea and could work very easily if offered the right way. I rathered the release to be a beefed up version of the Mohawk look. He still could have upped the price as long as all the necessities were included; all 3 guns, arm gun-sling, knife, shades, rig, belt buckle. DX could have been an alternate expression. Long hair Travie could have been a seperate release, even just an H&C. That could have included the proper overlaping bits plus it's own relevant accessories. I know that's not what's happening now but it would have covered all bases and all preferences.

If everything is included for the increased price, I won't mind one bit; but I'm predicting that some essential won't make the cut because of something else.

The chest piece looks good but what arms are going on it? This is obviously an effort to acheive the shirtless look but if there's just going to be TTM21 arms put on it, it completley defeats the purpose.

And speaking of the price speculation talk... we shouldn't talk too much about that... even though it's just for convo sake. It's best we button up and let him decide for himself

If it's stock, and Hot Toys, then I would guess Truetype Advance. They are too broad for the character IMO, but are available and have more definition than other TT arms. I really don't see RM doing his own sculpted arms. Rainman has used the Truetype base for years, so that would be my default guess. But we'll see! I'm damn curious to see what stops he pulls out for this one.

1. Price has been decided upon and based on extra outfits and has been talked about already to those in the know.

2. Separate release wasn't happening, never in works and all those items you mentioned, weren't going to be part of single package with outfits, heads etc
