Good question! I have been looking as well. I've been looking at these:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-1-6-Ma...3358?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item1e793e6dce
But I'm not sure if its a suitable body. These are the clones of the old truetype narrow shoulder bodies.

They're just plain bad.

I got one and did a review on it like 6 months ago
and in this case, you really get what you pay for.

Light weight, poor mats and poor factory assembly.

Leg, arm and shoulder joints were loose. Most of the screws
when I removed the cover to solve the loosness were glued in because
they were stripped already at the factory level. You could see the more
than one crosshex on the head of the screw was all messed up on top of the threading hole being stripped.
So it didn't matter once I broke the glue seal the figure became part fodder. I actually kept the hands
feet and neck adaptors and ended up trashing most of the other stuff.

I don't suggest anyone buy these unless you really want to throw away
even that small amount of money.

So they get...4 out of 4, but not in a good way.

:pfft: :pfft: :pfft: :pfft:

Hahahaha that guy looks pretty damn close to Samuel L. Jackson, awesome pic!

Also any updates from Rainman insiders about Sculpt Tweak, Re-release of old sculpts?

Do you know what version it is? Is it compatible with HT hand pegs?

I'm surprised to hear that because I'd agree with that on the V1s but I haven't had any experiences like that from the V2s forward. Anyone who has Plainview, Beetlejuice or Iminime's Lecter (and I'm sure several other recent Iminime figs that I don't own) can attest to that.

Unless they improved the Caucasian bodies and didn't the AA??? :dunno

Man, I don't ever want to go to that area of LA. Those guys dressing up like movie characters basically for a living. . .it's sad and depresses me :(

Putting that aside, picture is pretty funny though.

Orange gun caps make me angry. Realizing we'll never get an official G1 Megatron release in the US ever again :cuss

:lol If so, then it's pretty awesome. Pretty sure they are doing that to pay the rent while praying for that big break that will make them the next marquee movie star though.

:lol I knew you guys would get a kick out of that. 9/10 of those guys out there are wearing pretty bad Ricky quality costumes; like Sam said it is kinda sad. A small amount are actually in top quality get ups that could win a Comiccon contest. He was one of the few that were super official. Simple, but effective and spot on :wink1:

Of course he busted out his bad mofo and even had the voice pretty nailed. We sat there with him as he reenacted scenes and rattled off dialogue LOUDLY :lol. He was completely unfiltered and funny as all hell. Just going wild on the crowd like as people passed by he'd yell something at them like "English MFer...do you speak it?!?!" :rotfl.

There were a few other tourist watchkng on and clearly couldn't understand why me and my girl were completely peeing ourselves, hi-fiving Jules and getting such a kick out of him. Little did everyone know that meeting an official Jules was so coincidental and perfect timing to hit me right in the heart :yess:

Tell me about it! I remember getting insanely realistic guns of all kinds from T"r"U when I was a kid. I can't stand those stupid neon highlights but we all know about the unfortunate incidents that made that necessary

Great pic!

You are aware of the invention that is Robbiethepainter :monkey1
