i think this and vincent will never be that hard to get in the future. unlike most. congrats to all the full set guys. i just couldnt do it with this release. h&c for both is fine with me. i will never do the dork outfit figure, so a wallet and burger or soda cup, or whatever is made doesnt tempt me... but i am sure there will be some nice dork figures bashed with these accessories. shame to see a fullset vincent for 2 weeks in the f/s section. and no bites. and i think he will be the best of the 2, who know's, might be a sleeper in the future and be hard to get like anton.

Wow really... Everything available including Full Set, I don't get it, I love Vince and I think Jules is going to be awesome aswell, O well frees up figures for people who really want them at retail Rainman prices.

It will disappear you'll see. Same thing happened when I tried to sell my Marty and Ori was selling Pee Wee. Give it some time. He will sell and you'll never see him again! It's proven!

Well let's hope that's because he's putting the necessary time into making this look great. I was just looking at the sculpts on his site and the frown lines are the biggest aspect that is sinking this sculpt. I hate to say that not only are those frown lines not accurate to SLJ's likeness, they don't even look human. It's more evident in the unpainted sculpt. I'm not trying to be a d_ck but I expect a lot more for his skill level and this price point.

This really may be a first. I don't think every aspect of an offering has ever been available simotanously this far after sales day. Quite honestly it sends a good message. Again, I'm not trying to be a d_ck and I say this as a fan but the truth is no one can serve up silver for gold prices and expect it to keep flying off of the shelf. Anyone who does expect that has become way to comfortable and something like this is a good reminder that if you want to charge top dollar for a product, then top effort has to go into it every time.

I have known Rainman to complete a sculpt from scratch in 3-4 days. It's been 2 weeks or so since tweaks were confirmed.

If this helps Rainman put out the product most collectors want, then that's great. The only way he's gonna change behavior is there is a disincentive to his continuing with his current process.

BUT. . .I would say something about the prices here. It's only really "gold" prices if you insist on full/DX sets. Otherwise, it's the price of about 2 Hot Toys figures for a painted head/outfit set (sometimes less when you consider stuff like the BD T-800 and Robocop). And to me, that's a pretty dang good deal for what you're getting.

If you really don't think you're getting your money's worth with the full sets, then there's always that option.

Exactly Sam! Thats always what your paying premium for is the mans paint apps! Well, that and the secret item!

Yea, I guess I only think in FS/DX terms because that's what I've always chased thus far. But I thought that he said he was raising the H&C and Clothes set prices. He said that he was upping the H&C to $500(or $520?) but it seems that he didn't do it yet on these.

When he does, the $300 - $320 difference between the FS & the H&C will be way more justifiable. You get a TT body, an extra accessory and his paint work, all put together and complete so no mods for shoes or otherwise is necessary. Right now the disparity is bigger and it feels that there is $50-$70 unaccounted for in limbo when you're trying to itemize a breakdown.

He said himself that he has been selling the 1/2 sets underpriced for quite a while now. I know that's not what you want to hear :lol. But the FS regulars see it from the other side of the fence. Right now it's easy for us to say "why the hell are we paying $370 more for what we're getting?". If we were only paying $300-$320 more then that's much more justifiable.

The whole price point structure has been lopsided for quite some time. But this isn’t the first thing that shows us that he is much better at painting and sculpting then structuring his business and offerings sensibly :lol
