Yeh I'm really not convinced by the tweaks either. Glad I didn't order.

I really like the subtle change on the cheek. I
see no changes around the eye. It kind of looks like Samuel L but not a lot. Maybe the paint app will bring out the likeness a little better. You can usually save a junky sculpt with a good paint app. I just think that Snyderman sculpt on Silent Surfers thread is about as close as you can get. That's why I look forward to seeing if the paint app on this one can pull it across the finish line. I hope it turns out well for all of you Rainman aficionados.

if there was a way to shave off the Xeno hair and use RMs hair...i would have the perfect Juls...lol...man oh man....couldn't pull the trigger on the 85 dollar RM head...just too many questions left unanswered....:-/
I honestly think that the hair could've used a bit more height. It's a little on the flat side. There were comments about that when it was first revealed but that talk died out. We should have continued to mention it and maybe RM would have beefed it up. I'm sure it's way too late now. It doesn't seem that he wanted to do too much to this to begin with. The cheek tweak is pretty huge IMO (at least from this angle) but the eyes are super subtle. Ho hum
Not sure why people can't see the changes besides the cheek line. He also reduced the size of the eyelid and changed the angle of the eyebrow and reduced the size of the bag under the eye and reduced the puffy cheek, I liked this sculpt from the beginning and these changes whether some think are small or not I think just make it that much more of a quality sculpt, maybe I am blinded because majority seems to be against these feelings but I love this sculpt and see tons of Samuel L. Jackson in it, can't wait to see it painted and further more can't wait to see him standing next to Vincent!

I'm actually with ya on this. I think Rainman did a stunning job with the sculpt. I really can't wait to see it with hair and all painted up.

Your not alone. I think it looks great.
I think there's a lot of potential there actually, eyes could be a bit bigger but the paint will make or break it, nonetheless what was improved on helps immensely however subtle.
