It's good, but I think the Rainman version is a better likeness. Are there any pics of the Iminime version?
Those are the Iminime version, AND the sculpt is by Rainman... AND the likeness seems much better to me than any Chaplin release so far be it Rainman or those Kumik ones

This seems more like Chaplin in makeup

Kumik's

The Iminime version was sculpted by Rainman?

Great to have options but those other figures have nothing on the Rainman version.

The original Rainman figure has more style/presence to it.

Now that's how you display a figure!

The ZCWO/Iminime one looks like a cool figure and I'm sure it will be well worth it for the the price tag. But I know nothing about Chaplin really so maybe someone more savvy sees this differently

Yes. The search continues.

Sent from the Monolith.

Why did you buy both?

i have the same thing, a full set and head and clothing set. but it wasnt by design, i had missed a full set, i even missed the head and clothing set, so i bought the sculpt, and then the clothing set, by chance i check the site and i guess somebody backed out, because i was able to sang a full set, a week after i paid for the clothing and head, now,,,i am holding my head and clothing set for another freak who is going to buy it, and i am selling it ""at cost"", not a cent over...besides i dont think this figure will turn into a bill b or dude, etc...there are 50+ with the clothing sets....this may be a slightly under priced figure over time, especially as the movie grows older...just my opinion..

all this being said, i have no problem if somebody makes a profit if they buy a figure on the secondary market and sells for more, happens all the time , but as this hobby grows you just might start to see some deep pockets buy 2 or 3 at a time to make money on in the future.....that my freinds stinks....one day a real popular figure will be made, and this will happen, then thereal **** storm will start. this is why RM has the vip club i think,.,,so they dont miss....but after 3 releases anybody can egt into the vip club just about....more will have to be done....

His edition sizes have creeped up over time, and I suspect they will even more if he ever tackles something so truly desirable that everyone and his cousin wants it.

I think some of the fun in collecting these figures is picking the "right ones". All won't have an impact on the secondary market like Bill but Anton is certainly joining the ranks of Bill down the line, there is no doubt about that. If you bet on Anton then you bet right. As far as selling for profit, well those that hold on to these for a while will see that these can be potentially great little investments, but your not going to get rich off of this! You should purchase for it's intended purpose, hold onto it for awhile, enjoy it. The secondary market prices protect these figures from being treated like Hottoys, which they are not. You ever find yourself treating something better because it costs more money? Same psychology applies here.

He provides a niche custom service, a great looking product and an unbelievable turnover time. As any good business man, Rainman just wants these things Sold. Secondary prices can sting but they also force us to smarten up and get in while it's good. Flippers don't sit on product, they buy and move so it doesn't make any sense for someone to but 2 or 3 if you gotta move it in a month or so to make your money back. Soon it catches up to them. It doesnt work. The stuff is still too new, and the majority of people aren't going to feed into the hype. These figures have to be certified and sanctioned by the collectors and that takes time because we're still inspecting and
critiquing.

Rainman should also keep his edition size capped at 35. Any more and signs of fatigue and poorer quality will show. It can also bite into his schedule and I think we're starting to get an idea of the consequences of that.

~just a thought~

If you had kept that Beto Pennywise, we would have to add second coming to that title as well! :hi5:

You will now be an elitist and a God amongst 1/6 collectors.... but not until the whole east coast faction comes and preforms the proper ceremony. Mags has to brand you on the back of the neck with the RAINMAN ARTWORKS logo. It's not as bad as it sounds

Congrats :hi5:
