I think the chances of this project being delayed are very very slim.

Why? Its not like Rainman has deadlines to meet. People want this done right rather than quickly. I think Rainman really ought to delay the pre-order until he fixes things. I don't think its unfair for people to know what they will actually be getting before they pre-order it

Yeah, that's not gonna happen for me...head and clothing set, here I come! Maybe I can snag an Oompa Loompa later on. Maybe he could re-release the body with a different head and sell it as a regular release. Don't know, just brain storming here.

Rainman said it's gonna be a very expensive set. As a potential buyer, I think this figure would deserve some more mods before to be on sale.

Don't get me wrong, this is awesome, the sculpt is great, the quality top notch as always. But the hair is really a problem for me, the hat would be better with a flocking process for sure. I also think something is wrong with the skin color, which makes the eyes look really REALLY blue.

If something is done to improve the hair and colors, it's gonna be as impressive as Bill. Great work ! (again)

Wow, I was just planing on getting the head and clothing set for this one, but now I'm thinking I may need a DX....

Any ideas what the price break down will be and what's included in what sets?

I also assume that full sets go on sale the 30th and then a few days later the clothing and head sets correct?

DX set is $1000, fullset is $800.

DX has all that plus Oompa Loompa.

Apart from the paint and body, is the only difference between the parted and full sets the 1:1 ticket? Or is the gobstopper also a DX/full set exclusive? Oompa Loompa for $200 doesn't seem that bad to me, considering Wonka himself will cost 3 times that.

Glad to hear rainman will try to fix the coat and the hair. He of course can do whatever he wants re the schedule. From the buyers perspective I think it is clear that it would be better to see the next prototype before having to preorder when this means spending $1K.
