Because I still want to see Lee rock it, just because I don't want to buy it doesn't mean I can't admire it and help try to flesh out all the design ideas.

Mike, this is essentially the first real big problem I ran when I tried my hand at putting this custom run together a few years ago....the body. Yes I did try the obitsu bodies but they will not work with this figure or this project....I was going to have to get the arms and legs sculpted just to be able to have visible scars because the body was just too flimsy and would fall apart too easily....I even tried to shorten and take off the ****s from a kumik body but in the end...just had too much hips....
here are some of the ideas I was going to do with the headsculpt....I was going to have three different head sculpts with different facial expressions and each of the heads would have had a magnet to be able to pull the hair wig and be able to exchange between the other expression headsculpts....I really had the science down for this project but just couldn't pull the trigger to set it all in motion...good luck to the guys getting this if and when it happens...:-/

Beto does some excellent work . RM kills it in the accessories department, a Freddy with multiple accessories like needle syringe fingers, chest of souls, jump roping girls or Chucky in the box display would be outrageous
That's pretty much what Beto has in store next. Chest of souls, syringe hands. Jumping rope girls would be a neat to see though. How big would a chucky be anyways, 4 inches? That's a challenge right there.

I'm gonna say it again.......Obitsu or any type of generic body is a Horrible idea. No offense to anyone or there input. I encourage anyone who thinks Obitsu bodies are good to go and order one then, and also see if painting wounds on it will hold up quality wise without eventually smudging or deteriorating over time with all the posing for a character who's mobility was limited in arguably the most important part of the film.
This figure won't be a statue. This is Rainman we're talking about here......Master 1/6 figure maker.
He will keep it within the bounds of a 1/6 articulated figure but I'm speculating that it will be closer to the twins design than just sourcing a bunch of bodies.
This is Reagan people! RAINMAN EXORCIST REAGAN. Anything this man makes related to that film I want.
Let's look at this logically. Go back to some of my ideas about the bed, the levitation, and how making reagan similar to the twins design is the most optimal approach. You get a fully crafted figure with sculpted head, arms, legs, "help me" chest piece. You get to pose her at minimum 3 different ways....all of which are the iconic poses, including the most iconic......the Levitation. Sculpting the legs in the tippy toe position and creating a "wingspan" articulation for Reagan with torso articulation is the key.....but anything more than that would hurt the figure asthetically. No cheap bodies.....more sculpted parts.
Also, again with regard to this video. There is nothing in that video, pose wise, that can't be achieved with a figure with limited articulation.....Wingspan and Torso, sculpted deep wound legs, slighty bent at the knees, tippy toe, sculpted arms Every pose in that video clip is possible within the 3 to 4 pose minimum I proposed possible, all of which can be achieved even if Rainman takes the twins approach to sculpting Reagan.
This is all purely brainstorming based on what we've seen before. None of us really know what Rainman has in store for us. He may very well have his own body or whatever the case may be. He certainly has the skill and resources to do somthing phenominal with this.
I'm really excited about this. In hindsight from a challenge perspective, this was the Perfect project for him to choose.

I also wanted to add that we are debating over something that has an easy easy......easy solution to achieving a maximum pose reagan.
First of all, it makes no sense to ask Rainman to sacrifice sculpting arms and legs in favor of an Obitsu body when all you have to do is buy an Obitsu body and just do a headsculpt swap if you want to have at all those extreme poses. If you want someone to paint wounds on the body there are alternatives for that as well that don't require Rainman to give up displaying his detailed sculpting ability for the sake of having an overly animated articulated character that won't be in continuity with the rest of the sculpture and as a result not asthetically pleasing. Your also asking Rainman to modify his sculpt to fit that Obitsu neck. C'mon

Rainman is the Best 1/6 Custom Doll Maker on the Planet. I have no doubt the Girl Possessed will be amazing. I will watch the thread for updates, but staying far away from Owning The Girl Possessed.
I am with you Ren_doggy G-funk I am scared of this piece. I even sent a letter to Jesus to ask him if it's okay to own if it's considered art. Well let's just say after the photos from the movie I didn't wait for his response [emoji83][emoji83][emoji83] I am excited that Lee is opening up his portfolio but I really wish it was something I could be persuaded to buy. A 12 year old demon possessed, pea soup spitting, crucifix stabbing head turning monster just terrifies me. [emoji501]
