Yes, there is a limit as before... but I don't know exactly how many sets will be released yet.

zuno, any ideas on why I can't register? I can get the form to pop up and fill it out, but when I click join at the bottom it just says "error on page" and nothing will load.

hi zuno, I registered a few days back, but never received any form of confirmation except an old newletter type e-mail. I can log in as normal now though, so is that me OK for purchases?

Also, I emailed re: removing my name from lists sometimes provided to outside companies as per the privacy agreement, but received no reply. How will I know if that is done?

REALLY hope it is '15-ish' December, i.e. 16th or later. I prob won't be around for the pre-order on 15th.

Does anyone, (zuno perhaps), know what time the pre-orders normally are, or are they varied?

I'm sure this release will follow the same format the previous figures did:

full set preorder---> then a couple of days later---> painted head/clothing sets (everything minus the body), just clothing, just painted heads, & just unpainted heads go up. As with the previous figures, there is no need to buy additional clothing sets for just the heads.

So if you just want some heads for customs, be patient, I'm sure they'll be offered.

All sets are limited editions. Yes, I believe Rainman paints the sets that include the Truetype body but all the certificates for both sets read paint by Studio DF.

I don't know if it's 1 per customer or not for something this limited. If it wasn't, someone would just buy multiples and then resell them. I know zuno has said anyone doing that will be banned from all future sales. It hasn't been a problem in the past, hopefully it won't be in the future.

I don't think it'll be possible to buy all of em just to flip, since there would be other collectors buying this as well.

So how many costumes/styles do rainman normally do for a character? Can we expect to dress tyler in a few different styles, or is it just one costume?

1 costume. This isn't a Barbie. But we might get a bathrobe and slippers with this one as well as the standard threads so that could perhaps count as 2 costumes.

As a matter of fact, I did try to check em by clicking to rainman's webpage, but all I see are "sold out" with no other descriptions. Besides, I'm not too familiar with the GBU and their costumes, so I'm not too sure if they are the same costume or different, since I remembered seeing members here posting GBU figs with different costumes.

But yeah, I think the brown jacket look, and robe is all we need. Since I've already found some waiter suit and pimp mink coat already

But worst case scenario, you could still pick up those painted head/sets right?

I can see myself getting a few painted heads, might even make an aldo, just in case HT screws it up again

I also do hope rainman would include us those 1:6 (although if he decide to give us a 1:1 scale, thatd be sweet!) of those red tinted, oliver peoples frames

But Rainman didn't make Bruce did he?

And no 1:1 knock off sunglasses please. Those are available everywhere.
