If Joe E book is legit holy crap Mel is really off his rockers lol

No mention of drug use though right.

Christ if he’s that messed up without drugs could you imagine on them I would love to see that lol

I’m sure he’s a coke head though he just has to be.

I think religion is his drug. The Joe E things starts with a description of a wider family dinner at his Malibu house months before the island where Mel just suddenly goes postal on a guest (his brother in law I think who was active in the church) - some matter of church doctrine - and literally throws him out of the house while in a violent rage.

I remember seeing Mel up-close in the mid 1990s and people said he'd just gotten out of rehab and I couldn't believe how haggard he looked from up closer.

What did Mel do in his island?

Just google Joe E, Mel and island then put on your seat belt.:horror:lol It's online somewhere - I read it maybe 3 years ago.

Honestly, it would make a great thriller movie (with a slight comedic edge.) Trapped on a private island with a psychopathic film star/director who wants to make your screenplay. Be careful what you wish for in Hollywood is the theme.:lol

Same. He and Tom Cruise have always been immune to their off-screen antics.

Tom Cruise has a maniacal-eyes laugh, jumps on sofas when he's in love, touts Scientology and vitamins, bullied Brooke Shields for her post-natal depression and made a deal with the devil to stop ageing.

Mel on the other hand... he's needle way past the red line of the scary-psycho speedometer. Not sure "antics" fully captures what Mel has done.:lol

That being said, he's an incredibly talented filmmaker (and production designer too.):dunno

I guess it comes from family back in Australia but Mel has pretty much crossed into NAZIism territory at times.

But what did Mel do that was so bad? Did he eat someone or something? Is he experimenting on minorities in his island and crossbreeding them with animals like The Island of Doctor Moreau?

Well it’s really not complicated.

A. He hates jews with a passion (pun intended). Something about ovens and such.
B. He wanted to give his wife the Natalie Wood treatment.
C. He has super violent outbursts mostly against inanimate objects occasionally his wife’s face.
D. He loves the term Gold Digging C Whores!
E. He’s in love with his enema machine lol

Other than that he’s in Road Warrior and Braveheart which makes him a super bad ass lol

I still like him in Lethal Weapon.

Maybe credit where it's due: Mel was born in New York and his family didn't move to Australia until he was 13. :lol

His father is a former US Marine and notorious Holocaust denier (and major winner on Jeopardy!)

I still like him in Lethal Weapon.

He overacts the crazy, has THE most eighties mullet in history, has the most dramatically (almost laughably overblown) suicidal home life ever seen in a major studio tentpole, and has a weird Aussie-American hybrid accent.

But yeah, I like it too.

I’ve been thru his birth place quite a few times one of the guys I made Cannibal Campout with is from Mel’s NY suburb birth place.

Nice, I'm excited that Brian Tyler is back for the score, loved what he did with Rambo 4, very respectful of Goldsmith while also adding some really nice new stuff.

Brian Tyler? Never heard of him.

He did the music for Rambo, the Expendables trilogy, Iron Man 3, part of Avengers 2.

https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0003911/?ref_=nv_sr_1?ref_=nv_sr_1

His body of work doesn't matter to me so much as what he did with Rambo 4, that one and Rambo 2 are my most favorite in the franchise from start to finish. He used Goldsmith themes where they fit and in really awesome ways, and he came up with some great new stuff.
