Even though I don't like the prequels, the Special Editions are even worse in my mind. I'd have been all for a basic image restoration or even fixing a few FX glitches (matte boxes, missing lightsaber color, etc), but the CG-heavy "enhancements" just look so out of place. Fortunately I have the OOT on DVD, so it's not really an issue anymore. Now if only those discs came in anamorphic flavor...

ANH, ESB, and TPM stand out at the top and AOTC is way, way, way, way at the bottom, but the rest the other 2 I have hit and misses that make it hard to rank.

I LOVE the first half of ROTJ, but once they hit Endor it becomes hit and miss.

I like ROTS but some of the Grevious chase and the political stuff gets a bit boring.

AOTC is only ahead of TPM for me because of the Geonosis battle...

I was lucky enough to swing going to the world premier ot AOTC (thanks to my wife). So Lucas, Jackson, Christensen et al were there, but I still thought it was an ill concieved mess!
