Where is anyone crying about the PT? The topic is rank the Star Wars movies. People are putting them in the order they like them in. Should they be dishonest for your sake? I don't get you. I don't mean to come off as a jerk but if you can't handle folks disagreeing with your opinion on the movies, it's not worth posting in these threads.

The only important ranking here is: Is TFA better or worse than ROTJ?
1. Star Wars - Empire is the better movie but I can watch SW over and over more then I can Empire.

I don't know how many times I must tell any of you....
I don't care if people don't like them. I say the same thing every single post. I already admit AOTC is trash. Yet the huge gaps in rankings, not including them.... after 15 years to still be complaining. That is the "crying" I am referring to. Folks can't seem to handle not liking the PT and take every chance they get to knock them. It is borderline insanity and is pathetic. It is annoying. And before anyone says "you cant handle the hate" clearly a lot of people cant handle a bad movie to still be whining/crying/complaining. People get over the deaths of loved ones quicker than the PT. Sad.
ROTJ has a 52% on metacritic, Attack of the Clones has a 54%. And on Rotten Tomatoes ROTJ is tied with ROTS. Anymore it seems ROTJ is the fifth best film...

I ranked it higher but it's kind tied for me. ROTJ gave us a more memorable and original sequence with Jabba and the Sarlaac than anything in Force Awakens IMO. Force Awakens is probably better overall but it doesn't have any big memorable battles or scenes like Hoth, Endor ect... Only thing that comes close is probably the Jakku escape
That's the same for me. It's not as dark as Empire and more rewatchable

You keep bringing it up, even in a ranking thread. Something's got to be at the bottom, and it ain't gonna be the first three, so you lose by default.
And are you really using Rotten Tomatoes to compare films nearly 20 years apart? On a scale which to most rating it is an old movie they caught on video or DVD when they were kids.

It's a ranking thread...so how is ranking them lower than the OT or not at all is "whining/crying/complaining"? The only "whining/crying/complaining" here is you because it bothers you that some people don't like them...but you already knew that.
You know Burke I don't know which trilogy is worse. You don't see the OT ****ing itself over a ******* percentage.

Once a bad movie, always a bad movie. Very simple. There is no "getting over it". It is what it is. Not to everyone, but there is a general consensus.
I can't tell you how many interviews I've seen on TV the last few months where people made reference to the sub-par nature of the PT and the universally accepted opinion that they were not a very good trilogy and the hope that this new trilogy would somehow "make up" for them.
