I'm not big on musicals but this was so well done. Costuming, set, acting, singing, etc were all top notch. It's in my top 5 of films I've seen this year.

Mission Impossible - 7.5/10

Mission: Impossible 2 - 5.5/10
The story in this one is actually pretty decent. Nothing wrong with that at all. It's the endless and useless slo-mo shots of pretty much everything that ruins the pace of the film, some crappy (over)acting here and there, the ridiculous motorcycle-ballet at the end and the silly crouching tiger moves Tom Cruise pulls of during fights that bring the score down for this film.

musicals aren't my thing but i am looking forward to this one.
Moulin rouge was good i'd give that 8/10

I rather enjoyed it. Urban was excellent. From pics I had thought his mouth looked a bit silly in the helmet, a forced 'tough guy' grimace. Still kinda think that but he was nevertheless believable overall as this tough bastard.

Yeah but I think thats just his face, its not 'put on'. My problem is I know Urban doesn't normally look like this, that he's putting it on. Makes it seem kinda silly. However I'm sure if they make more films I'd get used to it and would think nothing of it.

yup...for me it's 7.0 for first one, 9.5 for second, 8.5 for 3rd...I would have had Max killed at the end of the 3rd
