Re: RATE The Last Movie You Watched.

Iron man 3 8.5/10. Loved it! So very different from any Marvel film that has come before. Even the previous Iron Man films. Just a way different tone to it, like more of a buddy cop movie than a comic book film. RDJ has never been better and really shows just how hard it would ever be to recast for the role of Iron Man.

Re: RATE The Last Movie You Watched.

Drive 7/10 It was pretty decent. I could understand if you never heard of it and watched it why you would hype it up to others. Soundtrack was very good, action was very good-all though pretty freaking unbelievable but not much these days isn't. So yeah.
I was going to be so
F-ing mad if he died right there in his car at the end. They could def make a sequel to this.

Re: RATE The Last Movie You Watched.

Well. They shouldn't. The movie is perfectly fine on it's own. The story was finished. That's it.

Re: RATE The Last Movie You Watched.

The Evil Dead (remake) 8/10 - not for fans looking for the good times seen in the original. All dark and messed up. Gratuitous gore and twisted. I enjoyed it a lot.

He didn't :)

A sequel book has been written, and I think Refn is mulling over a sequel movie also.

Re: RATE The Last Movie You Watched.

I hope he doesn't. To be honest. If it's good, great. But eh. I never really needed anything else from that film.

Re: RATE The Last Movie You Watched.

I love the Driver character. As CP said, it is a great stand alone movie. But TD has a point being stuck in between two places... It would have to be pretty eff'ing good for me to see a continued story.

haha It's true, I see so many good movies getting passed up here for reviews of some ****acular films like Pain & Gain. I haven't seen P & G, but it's like the cheapest beer in the store, even if you haven't tried it, you won't dare. Unless you're one of those, "I'll punish my taste buds and my brain, and **** you liver! Go to hell!" You ever heard the saying you get what you pay for? Starting to think movies that are directed by Michael Bay should come at a discount. Especially movies of his that aren't cacooned in an over-abundance of special effects of yesteryear, almost to say, "Hey *******, come and blow money on my movie and waste two hours of your life!Screw the money... your time is obviously worth f-all if you can see my garbage." Also, see Tyler Perry films... why the frack does every one of his movies make crazy money?!

Then you have some lonely independent movie, with no flash saying, "Sure I am not full of loud explosions, beefy men, and hot *** (that's the typical tall leggy blonde or brunette on the Diet Coke and Cigarette diet that Bay throws in for good measure), but I have heart, and substance." Not referring to a Place Beyond the Pines. But even that, which stars some major Hollywood actors, still seems to be ignored for the "LOOK AT ME! I am this week's ****ty cash-grab of the week!" ****ty reviews? Yes sir! Silly looking story! Absolutely! But I am the nice pimped out shinny new thing of the week! Weeee!

End scene!

Sorry. But ****ing hell. Everything you've said was straight up wrong. Cash grab? A cash grab that took almost 15 years to make...that Michael Bay had to get everyone on board to make paycuts, and direct two ****ty Transformers movies just to get it greenlit. Yeah. What a cash grab.

You know how much Pain and Gain costs? 20 Million bucks. That's 5 million less then Pines. You're acting like the world should be ****ting their pants over that movie, when they never would. Why the **** would assume this? Most people don't give a flying **** about films like we do. They only care about escapism.

But the funny thing is you're freaking out over a movie that got a wide release. WIDE. Over a thousand theaters. They didn't chuck it in some small little arthouse theater on the corner of Portland, Oregon where it would've made a grand total of 100 bucks. It made it's budget back already. Could do better...sure. But it was never going to be a film that would do gang busters.

Good lord :lol
