TCM 2003 - 8/10
Still love this version. I hope someday the franchise will circle back to that style, instead of the garbage they just released. Gritty, raw, gory is what 03 TCM brought back to the name.

Friday The 13th 2009 - 6.5/10
Derek Mears is the only reason this movie is as good as it was. He played that character beautifully and I love the design of Jason in this movie more than any other. Unfortunately the rest of the casting was a joke and the story line was all over the place.

District 9 - 9/10
A fresh take on alien/human interaction, and I love it. I hope they pick up where they left off and give us sequel. One of my favorite movies.

My list as well. Where do you put AUJ? I say right with ROTK.

My list would be:

TTT

I like how Orlando Bloon is taking out orcs left and right. Then Aragorn tells him to take out one running with a torch, and he can't. What a loser.

Annnnnnnnnnnd the arrows that land in the berserker with the torch are regular Elf arrows, not Legolas' arrows.

Exactly. O'Bloon failed his one simple task!

Still like TTT the best of the three. Some nice scenes and good fights.

I finally watched Batman Forever for the first time in about 18 years, last night. :lol

6.75 / 10

After getting familiar with it again, I can see why some folks stand by Val Kilmer as having done a decent job in his own right - & I agree, he was actually quite good. Apparently there's a whole section they took out concerning Bruce Wayne's inner fears or trauma.. or something - some sequence. That image of the real life bat in flight closing in - great stuff. References to the 'Dark Knight' here & there.. cool. You can also see that Tim Burton still had a presence in making this film - some classic Burton stuff in there.. albeit diluted.

Other positives are definitely Jim Carrey - over the top & all, but fitting in the context of things I guess, & he WAS in his prime back then, so awesome to see him do his thing. He's a living cartoon!

Nicole Kidman was absolutely DELICIOUS back then - & I don't think she's ever looked better since. That said - her character was crap. :lol

The rest - yuk. Tommy Lee Jones was wasted - utterly. The Batmobile looked like a stupid wind up toy. The sonar suit was pure k@k@.

I'll be watching Batman & Robin soon.. it's been almost as long since I last saw that too. :monkey4 :lol

Are you serious? :lol I've seen that movie tons of times and never recognized that he had different arrows than the other elves. So technically his shots were just going completely off the map while two nameless elves actually got a couple hits? :rotfl

Actually one can assume that he simply used other arrows since he can't spawn 'em from the the air infinitely.
Or just movie magic *snort-snort*
