The Call - 7 /10
Jack the Giant Slayer 6.5 /10
Oz the Great and the Powerful 6.4 /10
Olympus Has Fallen 6.7 /10
Fast & Furious 6 7.6/10

The Conjuring 8/10 a ****ing blast. Some truly creepy moments and Vera Farmiga can be in every film ever made and I still wouldn't get to see her enough.

Pacific Rim - 8.5/10
I enjoyed it a lot! It had a better story than I expected it to have and the character development was pretty good too, especially for a summer blockbuster. It wasn't just monsterbrawling, but the fights we did get were awesome!! :rock :rock

There are some minor bits that should've been developed better though.

Crimson Typhoon and Cherno Alpha being destroyed during their first action scenes for example.
They are being introduced as the biggest of them all (Crimson) with three pilots and three armed combat action, and the oldest, toughest and heaviest (Cherno), and they went down like *******. Especially Crimson.
At least it took two Kaiju to take down Cherno and the way the pilots drowned was brutal, but still... I feel like if we'd had a scene or maybe a flashback before that one proving the strength and awesomeness of these two machines, it would've made an even bigger impact and showed the strength of Leatherback and Otachi even more.

Perhaps a possible director's cut could fix this...

No director's cut bud. Del Toro confirmed that the theatrical version is his cut.
