1984 movie starring James Garner as a military sergeant who beats up a local cop, and hijinks ensue. Not very good at all. Sentimental, predictable, and by-the-numbers. Doesn't do anything particularly wrong though, considering that it doesn't try to be anything more than that. Gets a slightly better than average rating only because James Garner is in it being James Garner.

Oh man, this was the first movie we ever owned when we bought our Beta max. We had like half the neighborhood in the living room for the initial viewing. Technology.

Probably the first time I've watched it in 3 or 4 years. There's absolutely no way the people who thought a remake would be a good idea have any chance of coming close to the greatness of this film.

Star Trek (2009) - 9/10

I actually really enjoyed it. Which was surprising because I've never liked/watched any version of Star Trek on TV. About the only exposure I've ever had with the franchise is a couple of the movies with Shatner and Nimoy and TBH I just could never get into them. Just not my thing.

I like them Abrams flicks. The only Star Trek I can stand besides Wrath of Khan.

Reading the list of the best and and the worst Trek films, I kinda really hate the series in general. Doesn't make a lick of sense to me...that list.

Some Neat stuff ..., worth a Buck ... Not sure about More.
It was sorta Blade Goes Lone Ranger .
They tried to Mix Western and Horror together..., Achieved some stuff ..., but not Great. Might be something for people into this sorta thing.
