Mud - 7.5 out of 10. We enjoyed this film. It was nice to watch a movie with a good story and decent characters that wasn't men in tights or explosions. Or robots for that matter.

Dark Skies - 8/10

Tank: 5.5/10

1984 movie starring James Garner as a military sergeant who beats up a local cop, and hijinks ensue. Not very good at all. Sentimental, predictable, and by-the-numbers. Doesn't do anything particularly wrong though, considering that it doesn't try to be anything more than that. Gets a slightly better than average rating only because James Garner is in it being James Garner.

Dude that's so awesome. I remember watching it back in the day and loving the trailer that pretty much spoils the whole movie.

Taken 2. 7/10. Neeson's one-man war on Tropoja continues. That town's got to be running out of henchmen by now. Dead Albanians all over the place.

Retread ... but not a bad retread. Not as good as the first -- but, I honestly can't think of a way that it could've been as good as the first. Its a bit like Die Hard or Indiana Jones in that regard ... nothing was going to live up to the original. Solid entry. Reasonably good action. Characters stayed reasonably consistent. I liked it.
