That's a GREAT movie. Haven't seen the second one yet.

I started watching the second one last night but fell asleep (no reflection on the movie). It was looking like a really good film in its own right, ie not resorting to the same formula that made the first one great. I think I'll start over with it again tonight. It's really cool to see a non-Chinese or American action flick that has solid casting and production values. I'll be watching both of these a few times I think :)

The Raid 2 -7/10 -The story is ok, the fighting is great, some of the fight scenes are way too long, but it has the best car chase scene I've ever seen.

Take Shelter - 8.8/10

Mud- 9/10

American Ninja - :dunno/10 - I like it :lol

Temple of Doom/ Indy -7/10 - Still a nice movie. Most of that film is a rip off of other films, unfortunately, but it's good.

It's one of those movies I just haven't gotten to yet. I've heard it's well worth watching so I'll make it a point to make time for it soon.

yeah... I said the same thing :lol

The Wolverine - 5/10

Very loose adaptation of an awesome CB story.
Predictable and boring as hell, with main character being too much of a dumb ******* in-between.
Unrated or not, it's crap.

The secret life of Walter Mitty with Ben Stiller i thought was gonna be better a o. k movie. I give it a 4

Just saw this. Came out this weekend. 7/10

Its awesome in a 80s throw back kind of way. Its reminiscent of terminator, Halloween, John carpenter films. The only issue i had was that everyone else except the lead was kind of weak. The way the layers unfold on the character and the film spirals into total choas is pretty awesome. Also felt the trailer did nothing to actually paint this film in it's actual light as this is more of a slow burn thriller that does not have a hero character, there is no good guy.

If this film were made in the 80s it would be a John Carpenter movie starring Kurt Russell.

It's kind of like Drive in tone and use of a synth sound track but I found this more entertaining.

I juts saw that last night. It was pretty satisfying in a Tom Cruise action flick kind of way. 8/10

I watched EoT and Godzilla on Blu over the weekend. I liked Godzilla more this time, as compared to when I saw it in the theater. EoT was a first time watch. Wasn't expecting much, but it was a really nice surprise. Guess I'll get the graphic novel as well. It'll be the second time that I'd like to read the book after watching a movie (Noah being the first one).

I knew that my hunch to not buy this on a whim - purely because it's Wolverine, has paid off so far. :lol

That's likely 2/2 Logan films I won't bother owning now. :monkey1

The Maze Runner - 7/10. Action makes up for some weird plot holes, and it was interesting enough to get me to pick up the first book.
