Hey Gaspar, you didn't reply to my question regarding Hellraiser; what would you do better?
What would you do better?
****, my bad, I completely missed it :lol

Haven't watched it in years, from what I can recall it doesn't suffer from severe problems, but the movie never really stuck with me, I do remember some of the acting of the human characters was iffy, in particular that cheating lady whatshername, some of the dialogue was kinda cheesy, there are some great lines like "so eager to play, so reluctant to admit it" and then some like "No tears, it's a waste of good suffering" or something like that, one really makes you believe they're explorers of the farther regions of experience, the other one sounds like a cheesy line from an 80's villain.

I'm rambling, I would have to watch it again to tell you what I would do differently though, but script and acting can improve from what I can remember, of course it's not terrible by any means, but it can improve.

Fair enough.

I haven't watched it in years either, but the film stuck with me - as far as the craft involved, certainly. In that sense, it's a landmark film, & there are some truly haunting & disturbing themes & visuals in it. That said, I guess the dialogue & delivery can be better in most films.

I agree on the visuals, costumes and practical FX, those I do remember and are awesome.

Paranormal Activity 2 - - 4.5/10

Why did I watch this. It was on TV, so I thought, "**** it - I endured the first one, this can't be much worse." It was actually a little better I thought; at least the bits with the dog & the baby were done well - the rest ranged from vaguely entertaining, to stupid.

Godzilla vs King Ghidorah - - 7/10

Oh jeez. :lol The premise was dead set hilarious - like that android guy (he was side splittingly funny), but some cool stuff in there. The end fight between the monsters was great, & the whole film has that air of 'primo schlock' - which I guess defines a lot of the series. I've only seen a couple of them, so I'm no aficionado.. but I at least know they're not meant to be analyzed with a magnifying glass - you either love these kinds of films, or you don't. Really good fun though.

Interstellar - 10/10

Went into it expecting it to be a solid film, but nothing too special (given the ambiguity of the trailers) -- and it was anything but. As in, it was solid and then some. Made a big impression on me. Don't see what the critics had against it. Some say they weren't feeling the ending, but that must be a subjective thing because I digested the whole movie rather well.

This is coming from someone who isn't a massive Nolan fan. Inception was okay. :lol

Glad to see this movie getting some well deserved love.

Certain members of this board have made the Interstellar thread a very inhospitable place.

THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL. Great Cast of stars very Fast n Funny as Hell . Reminds me old good Quentin Tarintino like story telling very messed up funny i give it a 9 and find realy well done with GREAT Character's , highly recomend.

The Darjeeling Limited 8/10

A bit cliche for me as a spiritual/coming of age film; bit I'd say that all 3 characters were fantastic. Anderson knocks it out once more. Aside from the cliche lines, I'd say it was great.

Into the Woods 7/10

I knew it was a musical going in but wow...that was a lot of singing. My wife wanted to leave, she didn't enjoy it at all. Kids loved it though outside of the really creepy big bad wolf scene.

A friend of mine kept pushing me to watch this cult classic:

I really enjoyed watching this film for the first time.

The internship its a watch once movie with Owen Wilson Vaughn this movie felt like a repeat of same duo like wedding crashers give it a 3.

Then AT worlds end this movie just gets worse as it go's on its pretty horrible cant even score it. I like shawn of the dead actors just a let down , i wouldnt recomend at all.

Star Trek into darkness

8/10 thought it was really good, loved the casting of each character

Unbroken 7.5/10

Some parts of the film definitely had me feeling. But a large part just didn't sit right with me. Acting from some was well executed, but the overall time lapse was a bit choppy. Here I am wondering how long he has been a P.O.W.

Just want to say there really isn't any action, so don't go in thinking we see some Captain Phillips. More so a story of endurance, faith, and belief.
