Agreed on Her, a bit overrated. Imitation Game only an 8, Lu?

I love SPR, but yeah, I can understand the criticisms, including Spielberg trying his hardest to make another Very Important Movie.

I think an 8 is pretty high! Okay, maybe 9/10 :lol

Imitation Game was great. Benedict and Kiera were excellent. The story was great. I had heard about him and Bletchley before so it was really up my alley and I'm glad they did a good job. BTW, there's a great BBC show called "The Bletchley Circle" which focuses on a group of former Bletchley women who meet up after the war and solve crimes! It's actually more serious than that sounds! :lol

And with Her, I liked how it made you think about what it really means to love someone or connect with someone. And I think it gave such a realistic view of how the future could go, especially when they show exterior shots with people all connected to their phones and ignoring the rest of the world. He shot it so naturally without drawing too much attention to it, but it's there.

I can dig it. :duff

The Lion King > Tangled > A bunch of other Disney movies > Frozen > A few other Disney movies

I never got why so many love Lion King so much, never really appealed to me, I enjoyed it more when it was called Hamlet.

As for Frozen, you need to thaw that icy heart of yours, I'd recommend seeing some trolls immediately, don't worry there are plenty on this board. ;)

For no other reason than it was simply on netflix I watched Bill & Teds Excellent Adventure. It's been a while but you know what? It hasn't really aged all that badly. It's fun, entertaining, and if you lived through the eighties somewhat nostalgic. So I'd give it a 7 or 8 out of 10.

Because I keep seeing Snake's post a lot and never actually seeing a Kurt Russell film (intentionally at least), I decided to give Escape from New York a go...well...

I have to give it a 8.5/10. So much awesomeness in that film. Classic badass being a 24/7 badass! Great film, can't believe it took me this long to give it a try!

Glad you liked it... but why avoid a Kurt Russell film? Escape from New York, The Thing, and Big Trouble in Little China are top of the line cult classics from the 80s.

21 Jump Street - 8/10

Quite funny

Thin Red Line>Best Years of Our Lives>All other WW2 movies.

BTW I haven't watched these but have them in my collection and wanted to recommend them to any bad movie fans.

Samurai Cop-10/10

Gymkata-10/10

Total must see WTF films!

Gymkata. Man that wasnt even a B movie more like an F movie. The village of crazies and the weird dude who had his tongue cut out

I wouldn't say avoid, more so I was always exposed to the classic 80's stuff with homeboys like Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Willis, and Gibson. If I ever caught Russell, it was cause something was on TV and I just gave it a go. I never looked much into his career. After reading a bit more on IMDB and seeing Escape; I will definitely need to check out those, along with some other cult classics.

Seventh Son - 4/10

Could be very good, but...
Meh script, wrong production studio, wrong director, terrible editing.
