Because of this guy

All that stuff was funny but had absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the movie :slap

Batman Begins- :lol I watched this last night and I don't remember it being that dumb, can't believe I bought the Bale Batman as a good one. :lol 4/10

I'm no Nolancompoop (to quote Nam), but the first one is the best of the trilogy. Damn fine Batman moofy.

A Serbian Film - Ok, I kept hearing about this so I looked it up on Youtube and watched a good part of it. Serious question....why do movies like this even have to be made ? You have to wonder about the mental state of whoever makes these types of movies. I'm not even going to attempt to rate this.
I've heard enough about that one to steer well clear of it.

The sad thing, is that a niche market actually exists for that kind of thing.

The Incredibles- 9/10 I don't care for cartoony CGI, Pixar's art style, or superpowers, but THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!

I've said in the past that the only theatrical superhero movies I really care for are the Dark Knight Trilogy films and Mask of the Phantasm, but the Incredibles joins them. Unless you count the Iron Giant as a superhero movie, because then I'd add that too! It's got great acting, fantastic utilization of characters, pacing, humor that's natural and it's there to hide lack of substance, social commentary, amazing animation, no wasteful scenes of just seeing no named entities using superpowers (I don't really consider them characters), and multidimensional characters.

There weren't any scenes lingering in my mind or that I "need" to see again, but there was not a second of this movie I did not enjoy! I hope the upcoming Fantastic Four is able to do something similar to this.

:exactly::exactly::exactly:

One of my top superhero movies, gets a 10/10 from me any day for sure.

Will the sequel be just as good? Makes me nervous thinking about it, but it probably will, Pixar is nearly infallible.

I can't argue with that score; I thought it was great throughout! It's up there for me now. I forgot to mention Superman, because I do like that one a lot. For just theatrical releases, I'd go:

1.The Dark Knight
2. Batman Begins
3. The Incredibles
4. The Iron Giant (I'm going to count it!)
5. Mask of the Phantasm
6. The Dark Knight Rises (I know you don't like it, but I still think it's great despite its flaws)
7. Superman the Movie

I didn't know they were making a sequel! I'm sure it will be great!

It's not really as shocking as it's made out to be. I'd even say that the gore is no worse than the films of Tarantino or even Chan Wook-Park's Vengenace Trilogy. If you're not familiar with recent Serbian history then the allusion is going to be a bit lost on you.

Lord of the Rings the Two Towers 10/10

Lord of the Rings the Return of the King 10/10

I feel like a jerk if I give these less then a ten; these movies are so beautiful to look at and listen to. I realize that they aren't what I usually look for in a film, but I have to appreciate them for what they are— action/adventure movies. From that perspective, I really can't knock anything. The costume and set designs, cinematography, pacing, score, cgi and acting are all excellent.
