The first is easily my favorite. It feels really unique because it was a time before everyone had a cell phone and the tech is so early 90s. The masks Ethan uses were mind blowing at the time. Plus Jon Voight and Jean Reno make for great bad guys.

MI2 for me.

First one is a mess, boring half the time and not really interesting to revisit.
Second one is pure OTT fun.
Couldn't sit through the third one.
Haven't seen the fourth one, maybe one day...

I love the word "one", can't help it.

M:I - 8/10

Great movie! I can see why I hated it when I first watched it. Not a lot of action and a few twists and turns that my tired mind couldn't comprehend. Moving onto M:I ii.

M:I ii - 2/10

Quite possibly the worst sequel I've ever seen. But unlike some other stinkers, this does nothing to the greatness of the original and I'm under the impression these movies don't really connect with one another so I can press on to what I assume are better movies. But based on Deckard's input, I don't foresee any of the sequels topping the original for me.

The Shining 8/10- I seen parts of this movie a bunch of times, but never got to see the whole thing. I really enjoyed it! I read that there's a lot of historical allusions in the movie with the various ghost imagery, but I wasn't too familiar with all of them. Also, I'm not sure I bought Jack Nicholson's transition. I know he already had a lot of inclinations towards snapping because of his alcoholism and stress, but I wish it was a bit more natural. I know a lot of people put this as their favorite horror film, and I will say it's now definitely one of my favorites. Nothing has come close to "Repulsion" and "Rosemary's Baby for me though.

X-Men Days of Future Past 4/10- I enjoyed this when it was in theaters, and was waiting for the Rogue cut to watch it again. I read that it wasn't so good, so I decided to just stick with the original. The cast and directing are great, but I don't care for the story or characters. I hate how this franchise dumps a bunch of avatars with superheros and, at least for me, gives the impression that we should care at all for them. Heck, in just one line the MCU gives a nobody like Maria Hill more character and personality than the folks here. The fact that I can remember her name says something! They don't let me care about the future, and since those characters still exist, I don't have a sense of urgency—but I guess that's why I don't like time travel. The airplane "Where were you, Charles?" is still my all time favorite scene in a Marvel film! I rewound the film twice in the middle of watching because I love it so much! I'm so glad that Fassbender and Mcavoy love their characters, because I think they are fantastic. However, I didn't enjoy anything else. The plot revolves around Mystique, who was the main problem with the last film. It's just a big whiners' fest. I had hopes for the next film, but I saw again that she's whining about being hunted again. I'm out! The last third of the Wolverine movie was lousy, but I really like a lot of that movie. Then I saw the new poster, and it seems like they're just appeal to the emo twelve year olds on facebook thinking they're cool or whatever with their middle fingers. Deadpool, I was stoked for, but that looks like it's for 10 years that just walked out of sex ed. I hope I'm wrong, but these movies seem like they're made with a juvenile mentality of what makes something adult. I'm sorry for ranting.

I could've told you that. Locals here almost rioted because that film is so white-washed :lol

I only watched because of Emma Stone she usualy a o.k job but not this one, this movie barely has a storyline at all. it's just a very crap film.

The Guest - 7/10

Great acting. Great premise. Great first two acts. Sloppy third act. Dumb last shot. But overall compelling from beginning to end.

Godzilla 2014 - 8/10

It's a really good monster movie, has well developed characters, fights are awesome, in my 1st viewing in the cinema I didn't like the early cuts from the fights, but this time around I liked them, fantastic tension build up, and when they finally go all out in the end is really satisfying.

People don't like soldier boy but he was a good character, they all are, I would have liked that they didn't killed Heisenberg though, he was a great character, overall I liked that the movie maintained mostly a human perspective, that's what I want in these types of movies, I want the sense of scale that comes from looking at these creatures from below, from ground level like the ants we are.

I didn't notice that it has quite a tight plot, and the music, the music is fantastic as well as the sound.

The Fantastic Four (1994)

All things considered, 5/10
Still the only decent live-action adaptation of F4.

Godzilla 2000 - 8/10

Fixed.
Now go to the corner of cinema shame and stay there, I'll be watchin' you.

It's not the same team of writers. Ghostbusters is one writer who has one movie credit, The Heat, which is terrible.
