Looper - 9/10 Fug this was goooooooood.

Woooah.

This has so much good stuff in it I won't go into the effort of saying it all, just watch it if you haven't already.

INTO the GRIZZLY MAZE. A really good cast Thomas Jane , Billy bob Thorten , James Marsden aka cyclops from x-men main stars in hunting down a Feral or one pissed off Big Bear after poachers get killed. Its not really scarey more suspensefull as they try figure what to do in the film. I give it a 5 worth seeing once.

Paranormal Activity - 3/10

I love supernatural horror flicks, but this movie was just awkward, both in acting and presentation. The special effects were cheap, too. I never want to see another movie shot from a camcorder ever again.

That's classic! :lol

Wow, I just saw the triple feature on 10/21 on a HUGE screen and I didn't catch that at all. Not that I would've been looking for it. WTF indeed! :slap

As far as ratings: Back to the Future: 9/10, one of my favorites as a kid and one of the best movies of the 1980s.
Part 2: 6/10, not nearly as good, but a lot of neat stuff with the future and alternate 1985.
Part 3: 5/10, it always felt to me like this movie was just kind of there, and yeah, it pretty much is.

Going to watch that Weds. night with some friends, it's a double feature with the Spanish version of Dracula. Can't wait to see the restored version, I've got the DVD from 2003, but I'm sure this will blow it out of the water! :yess:
Even on blu the picture is rough. Lots of unfocused shots and heavy grain.

Cabin in the woods, not great and not terrible. At least it was original, I really enjoyed the part where all of the different monsters from fairytales and stories were shown. I feel like a cool spinoff could be done on the team trying to capture all of them.

Well phooey. I'll temper my expectations accordingly then. :dunno
I was concerned because it's one of the first movies I've watched on my new projector. I actually paused a scene, put the projector screen up, and double checked on my plasma tv. Confirmed it's just the film itself that is out of focus throughout most scenes. Obviously this is a great classic must watch film though!

Yeah, things were a lot different back then with no machines to keep focus, no instant dailies or video monitors to see what was in the can. Just think how amazing Manos: The Hands of Fate would've been if they'd just kept the darn thing in focus! :p Haven't seen Drac for a while though, really looking forward to tomorrow!

Terminator Genysis.

I really should have listened and stayed away from this one. The Terminator franchise is now officially dead to me. I'll forever cherish T1, T2 and TSCC. I'm done.

1/5.
