No. I made a simple comment about Terminator how I dislike the first ten minutes. Then I get insulted and trolled.

There is a consistent pattern of harassment here towards me. CMmiller, does this look like a joke? Just one of the comments I seem to get daily.

This is an off topic thread, it has nothing to do with propping me up. Maybe if you weren't such a child starving for attention 24 hours a day from people that you portray as beneath you, maybe people would like you here, and in life as well. Did mommy and daddy not love you enough? Were you breastfed until 12 years old? I suggest mental health counseling, since you seem like a typical spoiled rich kid that will end up getting into drugs in your lates 20s and offing yourself since you're well on your way to be manically depressive if you aren't already.

You seem to throw "jealousy" as a counter argument when you don't have a defense. I couldn't be more content with my life. But I'm jealous... of some kid on a forum, that never had love in his life... from parents or otherwise, who will end up hanging himself with a $500 tie.

Buddy, come on.. no-one's got it in for you.

Let's keep things in context here, it seems like you've taken it upon yourself to be SSF's SW PT custodian or something, & it's just not gonna wash here. They're always gonna get ripped on - always. It's got nothing to do with YOU. That's the starting point of reference.

Then, you have criticisms of T1 - fine, explain yourself, don't just put it out there & follow up with bland generic non specific commentary. The film is an absolute classic & still holds up robustly, in every aspect of the film making process. It's 32 years old, & is a lesson in film making for any new film maker. How do you expect folks to react?

How many times do we need to tell you, lots of folks here like those (SW PT) movies - or at least parts of them, & because there's a huge SW fan contingency here, those debates will always pop up. Just go with it, why are you making everything so personal? What's getting old, is your incessant whinging to be honest.

Predator - 10/10

I remember the first time I saw this as a kid, I was so freaked out when the Pred took off his Bio mask . I can still appreciate the great cinematography in the jungle-setting, the action sequences, and some of Arnold's one-liners that were made famous in this movie. I watch it several times a year, and it never gets old. 10/10 every freakin' time.

Actually WWE, although I'd like to think that I have a good rapport with Snake Plissken, that previous post of his you quoted (unless it was more tongue in cheek than anything) was a little much, I agree.

Predator - 10/10

I remember the first time I saw this as a kid, I was so freaked out when the Pred took off his Bio mask . I can still appreciate the great cinematography in the jungle-setting, the action sequences, and some of Arnold's one-liners that were made famous in this movie. I watch it several times a year, and it never gets old. 10/10 every freakin' time.

I've had the privilege of watching Predator on the big screen, from an original 35mm print. They really do not make films like that any more.

I don't know exactly how they achieved the muzzle flash effects in that film, but every time a gun was fired the entire theatre lit up. Not to mention the deafening sound mixing for all the weapons.

I've had the privilege of watching Predator on the big screen, from an original 35mm print. They really do not make films like that any more.

I had an opportunity to see it in the cinema once as part of a double screening with Die Hard but I couldn't make it that night. So frustrating.

Rewatched Terminator, going to lower my score to 8/10.

Reasons
- The pointless Nike shot. Ads mid movie are always terrible. Focus on the story
- The first scene. The set and effects look very dated.
- The music does not hold up. This is a personal preference, but only one song really fit the scene it played in.
- The contradiction from Kyle about being careful with the bombs, yet he proceeds to throw them into the bag and you can clearly hear it
- Certain shots of The Terminator looked very unrealistic and animated at times.


Going to watch T2 later in the day.
