So what do you call the same people who complain day after day for 15 years about the same thing? Normal?

I hate to point out the obvious, but this is a message board for people who collect collectibles, and a major segment of this community collect Star Wars collectibles. So of course PT discussion is going to pop up on a daily basis, when Star Wars fans are talking about Star Wars stuff! But I doubt that anyone here who's got problems with the PT is actually talking about it, in real life, day after day. I certainly don't complain about it everyday to the people around me. I'll make the occasional jokes about it but I haven't had a proper real life discussion with my friends about the PT for years. The only PT related thing I get up to now is responding to you.

I'm 90% sure they weren't joking.....

I'd be willing to bet they were. It seems like 50% of off topic comments on this board are jokes.

Three threads in three days or the same hate comments for fifteen years. Hmmmm.... yeah, seems pretty clear who the obsessive ones are.

Like I said, the most PT action people get up to now are probably passing references on Star Wars forums.

Aside from the first ten minuets, the rest of Terminator was pretty much perfect. 9/10 from me.

Glad to hear that you liked it :duff

But hey, continue making your snide little comments about me and what I like. I know how much better it makes you feel. Just sad you have to continuously follow me around bashing every little thing and yet nothing is done about it.

Anymore I guess you just post to get a rise out of me.

Like I said, this happens because you've made a name for yourself overreacting and going out of your way to defend three movies that a lot of people don't like.

Not that hard to notice the same people over and over again.

I told you multiple times (maybe you have hard time remembering), the bashing gets so annoying and I don't care if people hate the movies or don't think they are good. I'm not sure how many times I have to repeat this. At least the tenth time.

You responding to these people only drags out the bashing and makes the conversations longer. Just skirt around it! It's not that hard, really.

No, its me, so everyone has to pile on.

And it's comments like that that have got you your reputation for being a PT martyr. Stop playing the tragic hero and people might start to take you seriously.

The Force Awakens - 6.5/10 - (2nd viewing)

Curious what makes Finn a favorite? He was the weakest of the flick for me.

Oh? I didn't find him weak in the film. I actually thought he was a fun character. Very Soloesque in a lot of ways. Han was motivated by money and self preservation in ANH and Finn by freedom and self preservation. Both made a change for the better based on friendship.

I think they wrote him a bit on the mysterious side for TFA as far as his backstory and full motivation in the movie goes. I have a feeling Finn will develop into a very interesting character in the next movie.

SW: Revenge of the Sith 1/10 (the one is because of Darth Vader...but then he talks and screams) so -1/10
:lol

It's better than that, but I'd give it a 5/10 personally.

Highlights for me, are Ewan as Obi-Wan generally, the Anakin / Dooku encounter at the beginning, the Anakin / Palpatine chat at the theatre, the 501st troops marching behind Anakin into the Jedi temple, & some effects shots here & there. I find the whole 'Vader' sequence a mixed bag at best. It's starts well; the transformation sequence etc.. but then yeah. The costume even looks rinky dink to me. :huh

Excuse me.

Excellent bait Clown.

It may look like bait but I've seen many give them similar scores :lol

WWEJedi, honest question, do you honestly think the PT are genuinely good movies? For your own reasons, I won't ask what those reasons are. Or do you think, as most people, that they're bad, and you're just tired of the bashing?

Just about sums it up for me too. Although I'd probably give it a 6 but it's been a while since I've seen it. There are things I enjoyed from each of the prequels and things I didn't. Probably more I enjoyed than didn't.

Well, if you took out the first 20 minutes (mostly the R2/battle droid stuff) and excised the killing of kids, windu/Palpatine fight, Padme dying of a broken heart, the Vader "Noooooooo" and cut the Anakin/Obi Wan fight in half, you might have a pretty decent movie.

On the other hand, if you had to give AOTC the same treatment, it would be about 10 minutes long.

Of course I like them despite there flaws. To like them, I have to think they are somewhat "good." Personal enjoyment I rank TPM on par or even better than ROTJ and ROTS on par or just below ESB, maybe even TFA is up there to.

Critically ranking them.....

AOTC is very bad (I have said this countless times). Even I chuckle at some of the lines. 5/10.

TPM I think takes way to much hate. Jar-Jar is not that bad. I personally enjoy the Pod Race scene since I like almost any type of racing and although a bit long, I think it has its reasons for being there. To show Anakin as a superior pilot and to move the plot along. Sure, some of the lines are cringe-worthy. Some of the acting is a bit stiff. Not as bad as it is made out to be. 6.5/10

ROTS doesn't have that many flaws. 8.5/10

I seriously just get tired of the bashing.

Other rankings since I'm sure some will be curious.... ANH 9.5/10, ESB 9.5/10, ROTJ 7.5/10, TFA 9/10.

I'd give it a 6.5/10, but 2.5 of those points are purely for Ian McDiarmid clearly having the time of his life as Palpatine. Like all of the prequels there's the bare bones of a great movie there, and some terrific visuals and ideas, but it's all dragged down by terrible writing, some equally terrible acting and Lucas trying to push digital technology (set replacement, actor replacement, digital HD cameras, etc) that just wasn't ready yet.

To me, and this is just my way of looking at it, but a rating of 5 out of 10 is not too bad, more of an average, forgettable movie that managed to entertain a little without offending your intellect too much.

Speaking of which...

Scorch Trials - 6/10

Had a vudu credit burning a hole in my virtual wallet, so I gave it a try. My first reaction was... zombies!? Since when is this a zombie movie? Once I got over that I actually enjoyed (a little) some of the zombie designs, they reminded me of the last of us. It was good in the sense that it was quite different than the first movie, and had fewer annoying characters. Though I always hate in a movie when the main characters are pursued relentlessly, only to have them decide to go back to the place they were running from in the first place, sorry MM:FR.

Edit post - before someone else chimes in with, "they weren't Zombies, they were...", I'm sure that might be the case, but since not a single character ever even talked about it, I'll go with what they looked like to me.

Btw, how do 10 or so kids get chased by zombies for an extended time, and afterwards nobody even bothers to say, "hey, what the hell were those things chasing us?"

Was it the same disease as in the first movie? Cause it looked much different to me.

Why is it that all these threads end up being about WWEJedi? I don't get it.
