The Right Stuff 8.9/10
Is swear Michael Bay watched this movie and based most of his career on the worst parts, which are at the beginning of the movie. Once you get through the test pilots in the desert subplot the film gets much much better.

Episode 1 gets way more hate, but I hate Episode 2 the absolute most of the series. There's a big battle at the end of it, but it feels like 110 minutes of being in a coma leading up to it. Episode 3 is the strongest of that trilogy, a lot of wrong in it, but it's still the best one.

Ep II the absolute worst- I think TPM is the best of the PT(unpopular choice I know) despite horrendous Anakin- unforgivable and Jar Jar is OK as comic relief.

There so many completely flat sections of EpII that made it an absolute chore to get through. The ****ing frolicking of Padme and Anakin :yuck

Let's not forget about that ridiculous scene on the droid conveyor belt...

^THIS^
I've blocked about 80% of Ep II from my memory because it was so bad. There's still enough retained to tell my brain not to ever watch this movie again.

I don't know how you feel about it, but having Yoda jumping around like a ****ing toy kills all the mystique he had as just an old little dwarf. He should of been the prime example, that actual physical strength wasn't everything and his connection to the Force transcended his physical body.

The Revenant - 6/10
Not as amazing as its been made out to be.
My brother compared it to Jeremiah Johnson the other day, Which I believe to be a far superior film.

Goodfellas - 10/10
Another great by Marty and the gang.

Lethal weapon - 8.3/10
Kickass 80s cop flick.

The force awakens - 2/10
Gave it a second chance. feels like a children's picture book. And this coming from a guy who likes the original trilogy. Only thing that makes TFA watchable for me is Ford.

Goodfellas, like Casino, whenever it's on TV it doesn't matter where it's at in it, I have to watch it to the end.

Love Lethal Weapon. I always appreciated it more than Die Hard, even though most around here would think that's crazy.

Funny, Ive watched Lethal Weapon on more Christmas Eves than I have die hard, which I really like.. But for me Glover and Mel just never get old.

Goodfellas and Casino, masterpieces by Marty and they're so high energy it's easy to jump in at any time and get in the groove, while with other Scorsese classics like Taxi Driver and Raging bull... I like to sit down and watch from beginning to end with zero disturbances.

That's what always made me like it more. I think that's why it had a better career of sequels compared to Die Hard. The banter between Riggs and Murtaugh was always perfectly written.

I love lethal weapon 2, Pesci was ******ing hilarious.
I enjoyed 3 as well. actually never seen 4, been meaning to rent it. Some how I missed it along the way. Don't really like any Die Hards except for the first of course.

Pesci seems like it would of been a weird choice, but I think he couldn't be a better comic relief :lol

Always crack up at these two scenes.

Lethal Weapon 4 ain't bad, and a humble book end to the series.

Lol. If that scene had happened in the beginning of the movie it might not have been so bad, but to sit through all the garbage we had to watch just to get to that moment and have it be a whirling light saber with a CGI avatar attached to it going up against a stuntman with Lee's face CGI'd on him, that was like my mind had been assaulted. I'm surprised there wasn't a class action lawsuit by the fans against Lucas after that film.

It is crazy, mainly because Lethal Weapon 2 is better than the first.

Yeah, Lee's face was done really poorly in that. For films being so over reliant on CGI, everything looks dull and tasteless.

I can see why you'd like LW2 over the first, it's a strong sequel and I like how it added an entire new sub plot to the death of Riggs' wife. The original ending Shane Black wrote was to have Riggs die from his bullet wounds at the end of the film.

I love when Pesci goes "okay okay okay.." Cracks me up. Lethal weapon 2 is more of a comedy to me, reminds me of another well done 80s cop sequel Beverly Hills cop 2.

Nothing like the cop action/comedies of the 80s and 90s

48 hours
Beverly Hills cop
Beverly Hills cop 2
Lethal weapon
Lethal weapon 2
Lethal weapon 3
To live and die in LA
Point break (Utah, get me two!)
Die hard

I'm sure I'm missing more.

Great list. They all got that same underlying formula that has never been replicated ever again. The last good cop film I can even think of is Training Day, but it's a different animal since it's not an action movie.
