The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: 10/10

True to Moore's classic and backed up by some extremely good performances (particularly from Sean Connery), TLOEG manages to elevate the comic book movie genre and usher us into a new age. One can't help but wonder what's on the horizon, really. What more awaits us after this magnificent film? Do we dare to dream, or will this simply be a one-time wonder? Time will only tell...

Kidding aside though, Godzilla (2014): 6,5/10

Gingerdead Man 3 - Saturday Night Cleaver
Gingerdead Man vs. Evil Bong

Both straight tens, the finest independent cinema in many a year.

Jingle All The Way 10/10

What can I say about this exploration of the Human spirit that hasn't already been said. Leading the most spectacular ensemble cast gathered together on screen since Ernest Goes To Camp is the venerable thespian himself, Sir Arnold Schwarzenegger. In this harrowing tale of two enemies embattled over the possession of a Hot Toys Predator doll, young new comer Sinbad in his breakout role steals the show. This modern day Shakespearian thriller will leave you on the edge of your seat and asking yourself, how will they ever top this movie in the sequel?

Star Wars: A New Hope (despecialized) - 8/10
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back (despecialized) - 10/10

I can't say what hasn't already been said about these movies. They're absolutely brilliant, and watching the non-special edition versions for the first time made me appreciate them even more. The pacing of the stories were done beautifully, and they just drew me, in a way that was never accomplished by any film in the PT.

For a moment I thought you meant Ichi the Killer, a very awesome and twisted film with tons of gory violence.

I heard a lot about it over the years, I'll have to give it a watch.

Ok, now I wanna watch both! :lol

Ichi was a good take on the classic Zatoichi films, I think fans of the old movies can really appreciate it.

But, I have no idea why Lisa Gerrard was even featured in it. The music was really out-of-place in some instances.

I really enjoyed The Hateful Eight and bought it for my bluray collection right after watching, Although, it is my least favorite Tarantino film besides Death Proof and this is coming from a huge Quentin fan, I'd rank them......

Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
Inglorious Basterds
Django Unchained
Jackie Brown
Kill Bill
The Hateful Eight
Death Proof
