Even when pandering to the audience, you still got the occasional idiot "why is this science dude explaining to this other science dude why wormholes are spheres? Hurrrrrr" :lol

If interstellar was much colder in its approach, leaving the love stuff entirely implict for the audience to figure out, and had better dialogue, it would be as good as 2001. But 2001 is still better in that regard, and a couple others, and has a bigger scope.

But all and all I'll stick to the A.C. Clarke books. Haven't read the entire book by Thorne though.

But he wasn't a scientist, he was an engineer and pilot. Scientist does not equal Engineer.

And the story wasnt about the science.

We will NOT kneel before Zod.

So to continue the discussion about Interstellar...

Personally, I thought it was the worst movie I ever watched in a while, and freakin' Hans Zimmer fell asleep on his bagpipes throughout the action sequences. "Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrppppppppppppppp".

Then cue the Matt Damon explosion scene :lol. I actually think the movie would've been more palatable if it weren't so long. I felt like sitting through it alone, was such a chore.

hahaha I loved the soundtrack! and I hate metthew mcnuahey or however you spell it, and I thought the scene of him leaving his daughter was one of the more emotional scenes ive seen in a while. That girl should be in more movies

I liked it, really enjoyed the science aspects of it. Don't think I'm a poser intellectual.

You seem really angry over a movie.

I'm not angry over a film I have zero investment in. I watched it and moved on. My anger is at the majority of the viewers come off like they got a PHD from it.
