Entertainment: 7/10

An uncompromising movie, which I haven't seen in awhile. Bleak and dour, extremely uncomfortable at times. But that's a part of life. Tye Sheridan did a fantastic job. Makes me appreciate Gregg Turkington even more, and I was a big fan before seeing this.

Mr. Holmes: 6.5/10
Sad, sweet story about an elderly Sherlock Holmes and his friendship with his housekeeper’s young son. Ian McKellen is fantastic.

The Interview: 5/10
With Franco and Rogen. It was okay. I think Franco was way too broad but the story was interesting and "so-so" funny. A bit too much graphic violence played for comedy, though.

:hi5: are you a fan of the cloververse too?

Yup. Really hoping those rumors of making a true franchise out of it are true. As long as it keeps the same quality... I would be up for a movie every two or three years. Just a lot of directions the universe could go as far as telling the story. The found footage in the original Cloverfield was excellent and one of the first movies I watched using that style of film making. Of course then the mystery psychological sci-fi action thriller that was Lane :lol Almost a melting pot of categories perfectly combined into one great film.

Only question is, would a third Cloverifeld keep with Michelle's story of fighting in Houston... or branch off.
