Witness: 6.5/10

I never saw it before, and was expecting something a lot better given its reputation. I enjoyed it, but the story was pretty cartoonish with the corrupt cops. In terms of the acting, Harrison Ford just being himself at the time, Danny Glover essentially being himself. Little kid being a little kid. Chick from Top Gun being a totally unbelievable Amish person. Worth watching if you are into '80s movies or Hollywood dramas with a touch of action.

Age of Adaline (2015) - 7/10

Enjoyable movie with two very impressive performances by Lively and Ford. I've actually speculated about what our personalities might be like if our bodies never deteriorated over decades and while obviously we'll never know Lively really made me believe that she might be a 107 year old woman living in a 27 year old's body. She exuded "old soul" from beginning to end. And Ford turned in two of his most solid performances in the last 20 years with this film and TFA.

And the guy playing young Ford, so stupid of Disney not to enlist him for the Han Solo spin-off.

Agreed on all points. I enjoyed that film, even though it's not one I would have watched if not for having heard that Ingruber was playing a young version of Ford in it.

Yeah, great performances all around.

I thought the OG Cloverfield was meh anyway to be honest.

I wanted to watch it for ages, then when I finally did it was like.. that's it?? :lol

A forgettable movie in almost every way. About the same as the 2014 Mehzilla moofy.

Chappie - 7.7/10

I liked it, would watch again. I also really dig the design of Chappie and the other robots.

The Neon Demon 8/10

love being reminded there are different ways to tell a story and make a movie

Independence Day - 7.5/10 I forgot how well made this movie was. And it's got everything, this is a blockbuster by definition and it manages to be a competent low-key sci-fi too, amidst the science-fantasy.
